but bestie you and all the other anons do have me thinking why is there such a character break?? is he really just that dumb like you said, or trying to make us jealous?? And it got me playing the whole season in my mind again, with how much he chased us and flirted with us. Even when he chose Arlo, he claimed that, that decision was made for us. And something the Suresh haters always griped about him, he was never vulnerable with MC and the small moments he was were overshadowed by something sexual he did. BUT THEN he opened himself completely to her. He laid it all on the line for her. Spelled out his feelings for her and asked her to choose him. And now we know she didn't choose him because of Casa and what not, but what if Suresh did all that and then in his mind, he's like well she had time to make her decision and she didn't. she didn't choose me. Think about it..she had time to trot around the villa talking to Finn and the girls. She could've easily told him right then and there, Suresh I choose you. But she didn't. So he goes into Casa and moves mad, grafts on Lulu super hard - even though there is no spark, and returns to see MC with someone new AND Gabi. I think for him atp he's saving his ego, he's not going to pull MC for a chat because he feels he's gotten his answer from her. and if she felt the need to talk to him, then she would pull him. This week's episodes I think is more of the same but it gives us more insight. He took a sip of his drink in never have I ever to say that he regretted coupling up with Lulu, he looked at MC when Gabi proposed and said "we dont know what the future holds". I dont care what anyone says there's still something there. Kissing Gabi the way he kissed MC. He's kissed other girls in challenges before, never the way he kissed MC. was he maybe imagining he was kissing MC instead?? and the proposal one of the girls said in the dressing room he's picking someone who he has history with. Who does he literally have the LEAST amount of history with in the villa? Meera!! They've spent at most now 4-5 days together in total?? he does not know this girl!! He doesnt care about her at all...he chose her because she's the easiest throw away proposal.

I agree. as a suresh girly here's how I wish it would've gone down... MC starts making her speech and its clear from her speech she's sticking with alflie and then suresh starts coughing loudly and she looks at him and he shakes his head slightly no as a warning to her. they make eye contact and he wordlessly pleads her not to stick with alfie so in the last second she switches to Nicolas / Johnny. 😭 alfie comes out with Meera and MC looks over to Suresh who gives her a small smile.

BE WARNED - long, long rant incoming but i think i’m just looking for validation in everything i’m about to say lmao

OKAY, but as I think we’ve all gathered, the s5 writers are acting like they’re trying to write s2 with their eyes closed and a brief synopsis, BUT, i will say that the only thing giving me hope going forward is a little theory i’ve been thinking about

just going to throw in finn becoming noah 2.0 triggering my heartstrings really quick because his speech was arguably the best part of the season BUT ANYWHO

in season 2, after casa amor, whether you recoupled or not, if noah/lucas/henrik recoupled, they all made it kind of clear that they were interested in blake (more so with lucas and henrik) before it all fell apart and they returned to MC. this also happens majority of the time in the show, they get mad because the other recoupled and then find their way back to each other. they’re just too stubborn to admit it at first typically

another reason that i feel like the same thing is happening with suresh and why they all don’t seem all that concerned for MC in that situation is the fact that we have RECOUPLED with nicolas/jonny !!! not only have we recoupled, but suresh has absolutely no idea whether or not we’re romantically involved with them. i didn’t consider this until i replayed the game and mentioned kissing nicolas in bed and SURESH ROLLED HIS EYES. he’s annoyed. he thinks we want nicolas and he’s hurt and too stubborn to admit it. not to mention none of the boys know if we chose alfie/dana or suresh

when alfie was grafting hard on us and suresh thought we were into alfie, he grafted harder on arlo and tried to get us out of his head. it wouldn’t be entirely out of character for him to do the same thing but worse this time considering he literally doesn’t know how we feel about him and hasn’t spoken to us in days

i don’t know what the situation with gabi is going to be, and honestly, i’m not entirely sure if my MC is going to forgive him for it or not, but this is what i THINK of the casa amor situation. i may be very wrong, but i just wanted to throw it out there and see what you think

omg babe literally yes to every single word. yes yes yes. I 100% agree with you and I hope so so so much that you're right. the only benefit of this season and the lack of the usual LI structure is that we were able to fully hone in on these four characters - Finn, Alfie, Dana and of course Suresh. We learned their patterns, what makes them tick, how to get in their head, etc. So what you're saying makes absolute complete sense. Suresh is just following his normal pattern. he sees us standing there at the recoupling and we switch and what does he do? "Suresh moves closer to Lulu, trying his best not to react" Why is he trying not to react? When asked how his night was with Lulu he's visibly uncomfortable and doesnt know where to look. his unusual quietness these episodes, he's pensive! he's in his head rn. Because I think he's scared. He never told MC about his brief fling with Gabi and now here she is in the flesh. He probably thinks any shot at reconciliation is now gone 😭 so he doubles down on Lulu like all the dumb boys do after returning from casa, and in his case its 10 fold because he has all the other ex drama involved too.

can we just have one chat with him though...like please fusebox😭😭

Can I say that I find it interesting that MC has the opportunity to be involved in cheating twice this season? Or in what would count as cheating in the Villa?

Once with Suresh while still coupled up with Alfie/Dana and now apparently with Finn.

Because both times there was no clear communication in the couples. (Counting the Suresh thing here too because Alfie/Dana is clearly coded as thinking things are great between them and MC no matter what MC says.)

And considering MC's dating history, that's just... an interesting choice from the writing team/the management.

(Obviously nothing against people taking these options. We have been deprived of love etc. for so long in this game that we are now starved. I just find it weird that MC gets put into these messy situations here - though it's absolutely fitting for this season.)

👀👀 BESTIE!! this is soooo true and even if you don't indulge in the cheating the fact that they push it on you a few times is interesting. like why would MC engage in that behavior! I mean I did with Suresh...but I also look at it as she's obviously harboring deep feelings for him and same with him for her, and technically I wasnt like ALL about Alfie. I told him I wasnt sure about choosing him for the end of the summer before I kissed Suresh...so thats not "cheating cheating" 😬 right? LOL

but the Finn one this/next week is actually kind of messed up (if you're not on the Finn route) not only did Kat just pour her heart out to you and tell you how she feels about Finn, but Suresh has literally never been more genuinely apologetic or vulnerable. So you're just meant to go to pound town in the dead of night while Kat sleeps peacefully downstairs?? NAUR...that aint on. And I get that Kat hasn't been MCs ride or die this season but if there's one thing she has done all season long is be extremely vulnerable with MC about her feelings for Finn. idk besties...shops closed for Finny boy next week. what scares me is the fact that after casa we only have 4 volumes left. that means that suresh MUST get a redemption arc in ep 30-31, otherwise we’re not gonna have any time with him at all😭 idk how they’re expecting to fit all of this stuff from the files into the game in such a short time. i assume the last volume is prom/the finale. the first one after casa will be the aftermath of the recoupling. that means that the two middle ones must be snog marry pie and heart rate, right? what about recouplings? or dumpings? how the hell do they want to play it out?

Here's what I'm thinking with what we have left...its rushed but could work

30-32 - The Lulu + Gabi saga would need to be explained and answered for in these episodes. We need another recoupling because we need to FINALLY pick an LI (PUHLEASE FB!) Snog, Marry, Pie should be here to add drama with Gabi/Suresh/MC triangle.

33 - 35 - Heart Rate Challenge again for drama! Another islander could come in during this time and maybe this is when Arlo and Pete are dumped.

36-38 - Final Recoupling + Dumping / I'm not sure if we're getting Meet the parents or Baby Challenge this year but if we do this is where they could be!

39-42 - Final Dates / Prom / Declaration of Love + Finals (NO DRAMA HERE...LET ME BE WITH MY MAN IN PEACE...YOU'VE LITERALLY RUINED EVERYTHING FB - FROM MC)

It’s official – all my previous MCs are ready to go to the villa to burn it down and hug my S5 MC tightly. I know it’s just a game, but see how everyone treats her (especially Dana who should be her bestie) make me feel sick. In previous seasons we had so many great friendship options (so far I love Chelsea, Seb and Kobi/Cora), and now I feel like everyone, if they could, would throw MC away. . .

Loved Chelsea ❤️🥰, when you're not on a Noah route Hope is such a good friend and I really loved her too💕, Elladine was my season 3 bestie and again another 10/10, and Angie in S4 💖 all of my girls would've had MCs back!! Even if Angie didn't like Suresh (I would imagine she wouldnt) she wouldve still been supportive of MCs decisions.

So… I’ve come to a realization regarding Alfie.

I think you mentioned that he might be thinking that MC is still into Suresh and that that was the reason why he would go and kiss Kat in that SNP challenge. And I definitely think that that is one of the reasons.

But consider this:

Alfie has turned into Suresh. The very person he never wanted to turn into.

Before Casa Amor, he focused heavily on making sure that MC knew that he is not like Suresh. That Suresh is just messing with her. Manipulating her. Playing her.

That he too got cheated on. That his ex cheated on him with a player. That he understands the pain and would never do something like that.

And then Alfie turned around at the slightest inconvenience (regardless of MC’s actions) and kissed Kat. Didn’t want to listen to a word MC said. Just more or less cheated. Messed with MC’s feelings. And with Finn’s too.

He has become someone he swore he never would be.

So, bringing back Meera?

A chance for a do-over. He messed with her too, played her just like he was playing MC. All loved-up, whispering promises of a future, before he dumped her without a warning, without any sign, and chose MC that first time around, throwing Meera away. All things he did to MC too afterwards. But Meera is giving him a second chance. A chance for a do-over. A chance to prove that he is not “Suresh”. And you better believe that he is taking that. Chooses “the right path”. (Hence also why he is so hyper focused on Meera, says she’s great, defends her etc.)

Seeking out MC? Trying to talk to her? Explaining his side of the Kat/Alfie terrace kiss again?

An attempt to clear his consciousness. He is not a player. Geezerdamnit. And he tries his best to prove it. Using sentences such as “I never would have disrespected you outside of a challenge” after coming back from Casa (Newsflash, Alfie: You already did before Casa) and “The thought of losing you really upsets me”. He has a heart. A sensitive side. He would never hurt anybody. (Note that Alfie didn’t like it when Suresh used pretty words and showed his sensitive side that way.)

Not apologizing to MC after Casa? For not having listened to her side of the story before kissing Kat? For bringing back Meera?

He is not willing to admit out loud and/or to himself that he screwed up massively. That he is mostly responsible for how things ended between him and MC. No. He is here for Meera now. He gets his do-over. His chance to prove that one can overcome things. That there this is a possibility for a second chance.

Kissing Kat?

Eh. He already kissed her before. MC accepted it and moved on (Day 1 kiss). So did Finn (kiss before Casa). And he chose Meera over MC who he chose over Kat (not that she really was an option for him), so Meera couldn’t care less about it (and we know that Meera – if she knows about the Kat/Alfie terrace kiss – probably finds it funny because it (might) hurt MC). So what’s one more kiss? Just one? It’s in a way a safe option.

So…

At this point, Alfie not only thinks MC is probably still into Suresh, but also that he doesn’t deserve MC to come back to him. Especially not with how much he stretched that one should not go back to a cheating ex, no matter how tempting it might be. So why would MC come back to him?

And he has Meera now. Has the chance to prove that MC was just a bump in the road of their relationship. That he is not a player. So why would he want MC to come back to him at this very moment?

(I truly hope that this long monologue doesn’t read like I’m bashing Alfie or anybody who likes him. That’s most definitely not my intention. We’re all sitting in our own clown boats now, floating straight towards fictional hell.)

ANON!!!! REVEAL URSELF THIS WAS SO GOOD!!! This was truly a masterpiece to read. And it makes total and complete sense...I do think Alfie's feelings for MC are stronger than the ones he has for Meera and seeing Finn's declaration right now is going shake him and Suresh to their core.

I replayed the entire season from start to finish yesterday & today and I realized something that I already knew but just became more glaringly obvious. Our two leading men have always been Suresh & Alfie and both of their routes have slowly mirrored each other just like you said. Finn was a non factor all season, even when MC is chasing him around and flirting with him, he's such a player and wants no parts. His main focus all season has been Kat & Arlo. So right now it would make absolutely no sense that the guy who's shown zero interest in us all season is now the one we end up with. No, he's the one meant to wake up the other two. Make them realize "hey if she's truly who you want you might lose her." Suresh knows he has no connection with Lulu, he knows he doesn't want Gabi, so why is he delaying getting back with MC? His pride, his ego. Same with Alfie.

Alright girls, I know we done received a let down today, Suresh Clowns down bad by 500 points, but I’m not giving up hope…yet. I’m about to put on the biggest clown shoes and nose for this theory that I got going in my head. So here it is… I think Lulu knows that Suresh is using her due to this interaction she did after coming on the terrace due to hearing her name.

I know this is a small interaction but hear me out.

1.) We have yet to actually interact with Lulu; however, she has not said one slick mouth comment towards MC. Everyone has been slick mouthing to MC and if you’re on Suresh route Arlo and Gabi immediately came in thinking that they were comparable to MC; however, Lulu hasn’t come in thinking she’s better than MC nor has she said any slick remarks toward her even though she said that she and suresh were “hitting it off”. I think this interaction shows us that Lulu will become (hopefully) a friend to us in the next coming episodes or later. Like she knows something that MC doesn’t and is just playing her part.

2.) Eddie gave us the tea on Suresh. This is reliable Eddie we’re talking about. Out of everybody in the Villa, Eddie has been the one keeping tabs on EVERYONE including MC and has been honest even when we didn’t ask for it. Plus out of everyone, I think he wants to see MC win and with him and Sursesh becoming acquainted I think he’s low key hoping they get back together, especially if Suresh chatted to Eddie about how he feels about MC.

3.) Lulu could have possibly heard what Suresh told Eddie and could have confronted him about it. In knowing this her and Suresh could have agreed to go into the Villa together as pals (win win for both); however, what they didn’t count on was Gabi. So to appear that they are into each other they’re being flirty with one another until Gabi leaves. We gotta remember when MC, Suresh and Gabi was on the terrace Surresh isn’t about to out right tell MC the plan cause Gabi is there and it’s highly possible that she would cause some mess to prevent that from happening.

4.) Lastly, Nicholas/ Johnny are just playing the game. I think the last episode sealed the deal for me that Nicholas (that’s who I chose) is just trying to make it to the final. He’s not really trying to get to know MC, just been wanting to know the gossip on any and everyone, including MC.

Anyways this is my theory. It may be a stretch but I’m trying to save this sinking ship by any means necessary. I’ve come too far for FB to pull this crap on us like we ain’t been the ones supporting them this season. This week episodes was truly sad and showed how lazy the writing is, especially after what Suresh said right before Casa Amor to this. It’s like they did a 360 on his character. But if all else fails, that’s what fanfic is for.

ok your Lulu theory I lowkey agree..Idk if she full on knows shes being used but maybe she understands the situation and understands her position. Lulu has been home watching Love Island for weeks, she's seen Suresh graft MC and she knows he's down bad for her!! So much so that if you chose the interaction with MC saying, I know you still want me Suresh, Lulu says {im paraphrasing} "with the way he's been acting it's understandable for MC to feel this way." WHAT GIRLY!?! YOU AGREE?! because yes!! he has been flirting with her, begging her back, Lulu's seen all this and she knows this is what MC is referring to. Which is why she ushers everyone to bed and kills the drama for the night.

Eddie 100% is telling the truth. He has no motive to lie and beyond that he's never lied. he told Suresh about MC + Alfie and he told MC verbatim what was said.

I dont think she would keep all the flirty stuff going on or Suresh for that matter at least not on that first night. Suresh or even Lulu couldve pulled MC that night and talked to her alone and told her the whole thing if this were true. and I dont really think Gabi knowing about their plan really changes anything. Im thinking Lulu probably did vibe with Suresh but like Eddie said theres no spark, and suresh just brought her back to save his spot in the villa. I really dont think its anything more than that. I could see him not telling MC about it right away bc of the compatibility vote and wanting him and MC's couples to stay safe.

So I did some self reflecting. And I can say now that this was the toughest, emotionally challenging clown route I've ever done. I thought Will was hard, Suresh is on another level.

I've done Levi 😃yes and I did it twice.

I've done Will and watching him pine for Thabi every week was literally heart wrenching.

I dunno about Noah since I've never done that 😭and I never finished friendship island because it was boring. But yes.

And I have come to a conclusion. FB, whatever hot pixel man clown route you have planned for season 6 next, best believe I'm putting on my make-up and red nose 🤡 because I obviously have a type.

I have to agree...I've done Levi, I've done Noah, I've done Will but none compare to the absolute roller coaster, emotionally draining and traumatic ass route that is Suresh. And don't get me wrong I LOVED it. but it is definitely not for everyone.

And bestie SAME I cannot wait for the next messy ass route they send me down. IM READY!
