Pre-everything going to shit, news reaches the Red Keep that Lucerys Velarion has once again slashed someone's eye out. Cue Aemond being a jealous mess, his one eye twitching with fury because how dare his nephew mark another?! Oh the tantrum that follows is legendary and ironically Rhaenyra is the only one who can understand him because just the thought of Alicent stabbing anyone else makes her feel like she herself will turn into a fire breathing dragon. Cue brother-sister bonding time over the audacity of their nephew-stepmother trying to mark someone else.
PS Luke didn't even hurt anyone, he just accidently nicked Jace with his sword during a fight. This does NOT help Aemond's jealousy because Jace is literally the no 1 anti-lucemond guy out there (closely followed by Aegon because say whatever the guy DID slash his little bro's eye and he is sort of protective). Alicent is just confused because why does she have the angry eyes of her ex-bestie following her around and is that smoke coming out of your nostrils Rhaenyra wtf?!!!

Aemond targaryen x targaryen reader: part 4
Aemond could barely contain himself as he looked upon Y/n at his 9th name day celebration, she glowed amongst the dull people around her as she walked accompanied by Halaena. Her shoulder length hair in a beautiful bun with small pieces framing her face, his sister in a similar style as the girls laughed and paraded around the room. Aegon sat next to his mother, drinking as much as he could get away with after she had slapped him around interrupted his morning ritual as he would call it. His sight on his younger sister and niece, he despised that he was to marry Halaena when his niece was far more beautiful and his mother had even said she was a challenge to his succession as much as he was to Rhaenyra's. He saw the way Aemond stared at Y/n, aware that his mother was cunning and had probably come up with a plan already. Jace and Luce watched as their sister danced with Halaena, smiles on their faces until Aemond approached and asked Y/n to dance. They quickly swept across the floor, Aemond holding her far too close than appropriate and whispering in her ear making her giggle and lightly hit his shoulder. Jace held his cup tighter and drank whilst glaring at his Uncle then looked over to Aegon who smirked, a plan having formed in his head to humiliate his dear brother.
Aemond could not help how he looked at the other boys or anyone who dared approach Y/n whilst they danced, taking up 4 songs before she breathlessly laughed and declared she was too tired and must sit before continuing. Aemond quickly agreed taking her arm and leading her back to the table, handing her a drink and watching as she drank. He made sure his chair was against hers so she could lean her head on his as she grew tired from the excitement of the evening. Her hand wrapped in his and he played with her fingers, thinking of the ring he would one day place upon it. He had long come to terms with the idea that she would marry him, he knew in his heart he would convince his father to let them. He would beg on his knees now if he wasn't so content enjoying her blissful company.  As the celebration came to a close for the younger children, Alicent letting the servants escort them away and Rhaenyra collecting her children, her youngest Joffrey with a servant in the bed chambers as the noise too much for his new born ears.
Aegon got up earlier than normal, collecting Jace and Luce and heading down to the dragonpit where they began to make the "pink dread". Aegon couldn't be happier with how his plan was turning out, now he needed to get his brother down to the pit to humiliate him. Jace was quick to come up with an idea and raced to find Aemond.
"Uncle Aemond, my sister Y/n is down in the pit with Aegon and my brother she asked you come and see her" Jacaerys said confidently smiling at Aemond as he got up quickly, following the brown haired boy. As they approached he searched for Y/n, his face growing more and more confused until he stood infront of his brother.
"Ahh brother! I have a surprise for you, as you are dragonless, we thought we should assist you, so we have found you one! Here is the pink dread!" Aegon spoke, Lucerys and Jacaerys echoing him as the youngest of the boys ran into the darkness. As Aemond's face lit up he saw Lucerys come out the darkness followed by a pig, his nephews and brother bursting into laughter and making pig noises in his ear as he stared down the pig. The rage inside him bubbling as he listened to them leaving. Aegon could not help himself as he made a comment whilst leaving, opening his arms and flourishing as he spoke.
"I'm sure our beautiful niece will find your dragon positively charming, or she can come to us for a real one." Jace quickly hit Aegon for speaking about his sister in such a way but Aegon simply laughed and brushed off the punch pulling his nephews along.
Aemond stood watching the pig for too long, not able to stop himself from wanting to kill it where it stood, however before he could move a voice echoed.
"Aemond? Are you alright what are you doing down here so early?" Y/n came closer placing a hand on his shoulder as she looked at the pig confused. "Why is there a pig down here?" Aemond could not contain his anger, pulling his shoulder out of her touch and storming off towards his mother's room. Y/n stayed in her place confused and eyes wide as she watched Aemond's retreating figure. She sighed softly and pet the pig, removing all the weird things placed upon it and allowing it to exit the dragonpit before it was scooped up and eaten. Heading back upstairs to see Halaena she saw her father and grandparents, all three upset, as she approached Laenor calmed himself down to kneel by his daughter.
"Hello Y/n, what are you doing up so early?" Smiling sadly at her, Y/n looked behind him to Rhaenys and Corlys, Corlys had always gifted her beautiful dresses and jewellery whilst Rhaenys had gifted her wisdom.
"Is everything alright father?" Her wide eyes looking into his, Laenor dropped his head and hugged the small girl.
"I'm alright Y/n why don't you go see your mother, she has been looking for you" Y/n smiled and left, giving her father's hand a squeeze and bowing at her grandparents.
A few days later and Y/n was dressed in a black dress, stood by her mother listening to Vaemond Valeryon speak at her Aunt Laena's funeral, Y/n had met her less than a handful of times, none that she could remember however as she stared at Daemon she knew the truth of her family. She knew her brothers weren't from the same father as her, and they all knew Laenor was not their biological father however he was still her father by actions. She watched as who she believed to be her biological father laughed at Vaemond's underhanded comments about her brothers and herself weakening the blood of the Valeryons. She did not feel ashamed however as she felt a hand grasp hers. Aemond looked down at her and squeezed her hand giving her a reassuring smile, one she returned eagerly. The rest of the funeral Aemond held her hand, slowly pulling her closer until he had his arm around her and her head resting against his chest, something Daemon was quick to spot and show his displeasure for whenever he looked upon Aemond holding his daughter.
As everyone dispersed to have food and alcohol Aemond never once let go of Y/n, pulling her away from her brothers to sit with him, keeping her hand in his tight grasp and only speaking to her. Alicent kept a close eye on her son, she noticed how he would look at Aegon with pure rage anytime he would smirk towards Y/n. Y/n simply ate and chatted with Baela and Raena, she sympathised with the young girls for losing their mother so young and expressed they could sleep in her room if they so pleased. Both girls smiled at her and seemed content with the offer however Aemond couldn't stop his hand tightening causing Y/n to let out a small whimper and pull her hand free, looking at him oddly before smiling at her family once more. Aemond watches as Aegon approached Y/n, leaning down to whisper something in her ear and handing her another drink, Aemond could not hear what was said but the look Aegon gave him was enough to set him off.
When everyone left to go to bed, the girls deciding to sleep in their own beds nearer their father as they had been frightened by Aemond, Y/n changed into her nightwear and climbed into bed. As everyone slept peacefully Aemond couldn't stop replaying his brother being close to Y/n, the humiliation he felt at the pink dread, the imagine of him and Y/n riding side by side on dragons. Her riding in front of him on his as he hugged her from behind. Every thought he had spurred him to make the decision he knew was right. He tiptoed to her bedroom, hoping to have her to witness his success and to see he was the bravest man around. However upon seeing her sleeping face, how she was tucked under the covers and looked so peaceful he couldn't bring himself to wake her. His thoughts jumbled as he fought himself to climb in with her, feel her warmth against his and have the best sleep he could dream of. He shook his head, she would be so proud of him. She wouldn't be able to say no to a proposal if she saw he had Vhagar, she would have to love him back. And no one could stop them, his brother couldn't stand against Vhagar. Aemond's mind was made up as he watched her sleep, slipping out her made his way to where Vhagar laid.

Tumblr media
You were dropped on the ground when Aemond reached the dragon pits of King’s Landing. Despite your attempts to take off your waist strap and legs straps, he was there in a matter of seconds. You cursed. If it wasn’t raining then you wouldn’t have used all of the safety measures. You didn't even like wearing leg straps. Aemond tied your arms behind your back and blindfolded you before he undid your saddle straps. You kicked as hard as you could, freezing when you felt something cold on your neck.
“I’ll kill you like I killed your brother if you don’t quit moving.”
You stopped, letting Aemond escort you. He took the secret route in the dragon pits that led back to King’s Landing. He left you in the Godswood, tied to the large weirwood tree. You shook like a leaf as you tried to undo your ties. There was nowhere to go but if you were able to run or at least hide then you could think properly. The voices stopped you just as you figured out how to undo the knot. A shrill voice made a noise between a gasp and a scream.
“What have you done?”
Aemond looked at his mother confused. “I’ve solved our problems. This is better than any promises from Lord Baratheon. Lucerys is dead and we have her.”
Otto looked at his grandson. “You’ve killed Lucerys?"
"I didn't intend to. Vhagar mistook my commands. I simply adapted."
"So you took Y/N? The princess’ terms hadn’t come in. We don’t know what she might have done.”
“They were at Storm’s End.”
“That doesn’t matter!” Otto lost his composure. “That is what one does with the threat of war. She didn’t know if we would invade just as we didn’t know about her. You have thrown that away. Even if she was willing to give up the crown, it would have been for her children. Do you know what she will do now? She will start a war! We ar— Aegon, what are you doing?”
You shook when you felt a hand grab your cheeks. Warm breath could be felt as it fanned over your face. You felt fingers digging into your flesh, not enough to hurt but enough to make you squirm with discomfort.
“Call the Septon,” Aegon said, turning to look at his family.
“What?” Otto and Alicent were confused, too busy trying to think of ways to stop a war that was certainly happening now.
“Call the Septon,” Aegon repeated himself. “I am taking a second wife. A prisoner isn’t enough, they’ll just come to rescue her. Killing her will cause a people’s rebellion. The bitch used to give bread to poor people when her family still lived here. No, Y/N Velaryon is going to give me an heir. There is nothing they can do about that without causing harm to her.”
“You have children with Helaena.”
“And our son will marry the daughter I have with Y/N. They’ll rule together like my father always wanted from his children.”
You were left alone again. Or so you thought. Aegon was looking at you, enjoying the struggle as you tried to undo your ties. He waited until you were almost out before grabbing your hands. You screamed There was no use trying to escape anymore, not in your current state.
Aegon tested you. He removed the tie around the weirwood tree before everyone else got back to see what you would do. A devilish smile crossed his face when you didn’t run. You simply stood there, trying to get a sense of your surroundings. The wedding was done right then and there. You weren’t changed. Your ties weren’t removed. You were still blindfolded as you said your vows. Vows you didn’t say so much as muttered under the stress of Aemond’s sword lightly pressing into your back.
Otto and Alicent watched with lots of concern as you were pulled along by Aegon as he headed towards his chamber. Alicent pulled away when you jumped at her touch. She could do nothing but watch you leave the Godswood.
Otto squeezed his hands out of stress. “We could send her back in good faith?”
“Aemond has killed Lucerys.”
“But she is still alive. They will want her back.”
“Is Aegon to give up the throne? Do you think Rhaenyra will accept a surrender? She will kill Aegon a—”
“Your son killed hers first! And he’s kidnapped the only daughter she has birthed. Your other son has taken light of her pledge to Lord Stark, wed her, and is about to ruin her. There is nothing to do now. We surrender and pray they are merciful enough to not take our heads. Understand when you have lost because of your own actions.”
Alicent shook her head. “What mother sacrifices her children? I am sorry about Y/N, I truly am. But I will not kill my own children. Aegon has made this decision. We must support him until the end of war.”
~~
Daemon had been on the beach in the morning. Lord Baratheon was more than likely to host the prince and princess for many days but Cregan probably wouldn’t care much for Jace without you there. Even if Jace and Cregan were friends. But Daemon wasn’t just waiting on Jace. He was waiting on word from his Goldcloaks about who was still loyal and would ride to Dragonstone.
The King Consort waved as Vermax landed on the beach. His hand dropped when two ravens almost flew into him. Jace undid his leg straps rather lazily. Unlike you and Lucerys, he and Rhaena preferred leg straps over waist straps. He looked over at his stepfather who was picking something off the legs of the ravens.
“Daemon, what is it?”
The two papers dropped from Daemon’s grip, landing in the sand. Jace slid down his dragon and ran when his stepfather trudged towards the ocean and dropped into the water. He stopped to pick up the papers first.
“We have to tell Mother, we ha—”
Jace stopped when Daemon didn’t move. The older man looked out at the ocean. Daemon’s face turned hard. He returned his sword to its sheath and stood up. He and Jace returned to the meeting hall where everyone was gathered to discuss more plans. Jace went to Baela, Rhaena, Joffrey, and the twins while Daemon went to Rhaenyra. He pulled her towards the fire and away from the table. Rhaenyra’s scream gained everyone’s attention. Daemon put a hand on her shoulder.
“We will get her back. But we must plan.”
Rhaenyra nodded. “I want you to get Cregan Stark.”
Daemon was gone without another word.
~~
You were pushed into a room. Aegon didn’t stop pushing until you were face first on the bed. You didn’t bother kicking or hitting as he untied you, already fearful of another knife to your back. Instead, you begged. Still blindfolded, you choked out sobs and whispered your pleas as you felt the bottom of your skirt get pushed up. Aegon leaned over you.
“Keep begging. I enjoy it.”
He was cold, not even trying to help you like it. It was all for his pleasure and giving him an heir. You had to listen to him take pride in how your mother and father would feel when they received the news. He took pride in the notion that you and Cregan were over by his own hands. You felt yourself get turned over.
For the first time that night, he kissed you. It wasn’t sweet or of passion. It was of conquest, another thing he bragged about. Living up to his ancestor’s moniker — Aegon the Conqueror. He tilted your head up as he removed the blindfold. Fingers grabbing the front of your dress, he tore it.
“I think I’ll keep a bit of this to remind me of our night. I will see you in the morning when the family eats, dear wife.” He grabbed at your body one more time. “I will see you tomorrow night as well. We will make beautiful heirs. The maids will come by in the morning with clothes for you. Don’t think you will do anything without my permission.”
He left. You laid motionless in your bed, only staring at the ceiling for what felt like hours. Eventually, you were able to sit yourself up. Your chamber was practically empty. There wasn’t even a jug of water. You coughed as you got out of the bed.
Carefully, like you were afraid of making any moves, you opened the door to see Kingsguards. They both turned, immediately looking above you when they saw how torn your dress was. You tried to cover up your chest as best as you could with the torn fabric and your hands. You looked at both of them, recognizing Ser Criston.
“Can I get some water? And maybe something to eat, please?”
Ser Criston walked away while the other Kingsguard stayed by the door. You stood awkwardly in your own chamber when he came back. He set down a jug of water with a cup as well as a small plate of whatever he could scrounge up from the kitchens. He set down something else.
“One of the maids had a spare sleeping gown.”
He left shortly after, not looking at you as he did. You made your way over to the small table, deciding to change into the sleeping gown first. The water felt cool as it hit your lips. You didn’t bother with the cup. The jug was only set back on the table when it was empty.
Your stomach rumbled as the reality of your situation hit you fully. You vomited all over the floor. You didn’t want the food anymore, choosing to just sit on your bed. It was early morning when the maids came in. The first maid stopped in the doorframe.
“Oh my.”
The others nearly ran into her. They all focused on the vomit in between the bed and the table. Some of them moved to clean it up while others started a bath. They whispered under their breath to each other. You looked like you hadn’t slept at all. The food hadn’t been touched but the jug of water was drained.
Aegon’s behavior wasn’t a secret amongst the maids. They had lost so many girls who were given money by the Crown to get as far away from the Keep as they could. But they never thought he would do it to his own wife. You were basically a doll as they moved you from your bed to the tub. They washed you as gently as they could. Everyone froze when you pulled your leg away as a maid got closer to it.
They decided you were done and helped you out of the tub. You were dressed with clothes that had belonged to Helaena. The maids escorted you along with the Kingsguard to the dining hall. It was just Otto, Alicent, Aegon, Helaena, and Aemond. Alicent dropped her head in her hands when you sat down. You looked like a wreck. The only thing nice was your hair and the dress the maids were responsible for.
The dark circles under your eyes were large. Your lip looked split. And some sort of bruise was forming around your neck. You just stared into the distance. She tried to pile food on your plate, pushing it towards you. You didn’t make any movement. The family ate and talked around you.
Your eyes glanced down when you felt something touch your thigh. A white hand scrunched up the fabric of your dress until the skirt was completely bunched around your waist. You looked over at Aegon who looked at you with dark eyes. Otto turned his head when he heard a squeak come from you. He saw his grandson’s arm moving rather vigorously.
“Aegon.”
“What? I came to the realization that I never gave my wife pleasure last night. If you don’t enjoy entertainment with your meal then you may leave, grandsire.” He looked back at you in disgust. “Did you just piss yourself?”
He pulled his hand from you and pushed your upper body onto the table, forcing you to stand.
“Aegon, stop this at once!” Otto threw down his spoon.
“Why? She is my wife.”
Everyone but Aemond and the required Kingsguard left as Aegon began flipping up your skirts. The Kingsguard averted their eyes, flinching at every sound that came from you. Aegon pressed you into the table more and more with each thrust. He and his brother made crude remarks. Eventually, Aemond grew bored and left after pouring the rest of his unfinished wine onto your head.
Alicent paced outside the dining hall, stopping every now and then to listen at the door. She ran in when Aegon and his Kingsguard had left. The thin cotton that made your underwear was in pieces at your ankles. Your skirts were still flipped up. Alicent rushed over to you. You freaked out when you felt someone touch you. Alicent tried to shush you as she pulled down your dress and sat you down in a chair. She kneeled down in front of you, grabbing your hands.
“I apologize deeply for his behavior.”
“I want to go home,” you said in a voice barely above a whisper.
“This is your home now. I will speak with Aegon about letting you out of the chamber.” She beckoned over Ser Criston. “I’d like you to take care of her as best as you can.”
Alicent went to go find her son. Criston offered a hand that you shakily took. You thought he was gone for the day when you were returned to your chamber. Instead, he was back with water and food since you still hadn’t eaten since yesterday morning. He approached you with another sleeping gown and a cup.
“Mara made the tea for herself. She requested that I give it to you, Your Grace.”
“Princess.”
“Hmm?”
“I don’t want to be Your Grace.”
“Yes. Apologies, Princess. Please take the tea. Either Mara or I will be by in the mornings with more for you.”
You recognized the scent of moon tea in the cup. Aegon had forbidden you from everywhere, especially the kitchens. You suspected it was for this very reason. You downed the cup before taking the jug on your nightstand and poured water into the cup.
After three rounds of water, you thought all traces of moon tea were out of the cup. Your eyes closed as you turned away from the food in favor of sleep. There was nothing to do but fearfully wait for Aegon to come at night.
You were allowed out of your chamber after a while. The Godswood, the kitchen, and the library were the only places you could go. Kingsguard still escorted you everywhere. At first, Aegon only wanted you to have library access. Otto and Alicent convinced him otherwise when you still didn’t eat. You only ate stuff that you prepared and you only ate in the kitchens.
The cooks set a stool at the end of the large counter because that was where you stayed. You always got pitiful looks from them as they tried to add more food onto your plate whenever you came in with split lips or others matters. They looked at you with pity when Aegon came in. He set your bread down and yanked you off the stool.
“You can eat later.”
You were confused when you were led through the Godswood by a fully armored Aegon. He sat you on the back of his dragon and tied the leg straps before getting on himself. As his dragon flew on, you started to hear shouting. Pretty soon you came upon a battlefield. It wasn’t really. No one was fighting, not yet. But there were troops for miles. And there were dragons.
Your parents looked over you as best as they could. Your brother’s face couldn’t conceal his anger, neither could his dragon. You looked at them all. Jace, Daemon, Rhaenyra, Baela, Rhaena, and Rhaenys. Every dragon-rider was there. Your grandmother was closest to you.
If you jumped, she might be able to catch you before you hit the ground. Aegon grabbed you just as you undid the second strap. He pressed his knife to your throat.
“I will kill her if you ever try to come for her or the crown. Do you understand?”
Aegon could tell they were calculating. He didn’t wait, choosing to prove his point. You cried out when he stabbed your right shoulder. Rhaenyra sneered but didn’t move for fear of hurting you more. Aegon began flying back without any more opposition.
Your family knew they had to go back to Dragonstone but they weren’t giving up. Unbeknownst to him, Aegon reignited the life in you. You hadn’t seen your family in months and it almost broke you. Now, you wanted to reunite more than anything. You landed in King’s Landing without a fight.
The Grand Maester cared for your wound while Alicent and Otto berated Aegon for what he had done. You couldn’t really hear what they were saying. You were too busy plotting how you were going to kill every last one of them.

Poessive Gods
I had this idea from the Au I am doing on Ao3, it’s called Do You wish for This?, under Anon but it’s a Aemond/Lucerys fic. But it involves the gods of old Valyria being fucking creeps and...well...
Chapter 1?
The air was tense, so tense that a knife could cut through it and show the air beneath it.
And in an instant it shifted.
Queen Alicent had grabbed Ageon’s dagger from her husband and turned, intent on taking Lucerys Velaryon’s eyes before all the witnesses before them and the boy screamed.
But instead of his mother coming to stop her, someone else did.
A man dressed in robes of gleaming white and gold, hair purer than snow and eyes of burning amber locked arms with the queen. His fang teeth bared in warning as his clawed hands gripped her wrists.
“Do not…hurt him,” he hissed, everyone stepped back as the man had magically appeared.
“My queen!” Cole had called out, rushing to her aid before a similar man with forest green hair and bright red eyes stopped him, snarling right at him as a woman appeared, hair a fiery red and eyes a bright orange as she looked around before standing in front of Rhaenyra.
Protecting them.
“W…Who are you,’ Alicent demanded, gasping as she was pushed back into Ser Harrold’s grip and she finally got a good look at him.
His eyes were that akin to a Dragons and his skin was littered with patches of pearlescent white scales.
“...I am Arrax,” he grinned, Viserys making a choking noise but he ignored him, turning to look at Rhaenyra who stiffened under his gaze before it moved to her left.
To Lucerys.
And Arrax smiled.
“....My boy,” he breathed, striding forward and kneeling down as the green haired one released Cole and turned to the Blacks, looking for someone as well. “My Lucerys,” he cupped his face, smiling as the boy looked to his mother confused. “Finally for you to see me….”
“Jacaerys,” the other male smiled, kneeling down with a grin and arms open. “My boy! It is I! Vermax!”
“....L…Lord Vermax…” Rhaenyra was near the point of passing out as more appeared from the shadows, all adored with patches of scales and one with hair as dark as night coming to her father.
“...Sit. You need rest Viserys,” his voice was soft, deep, commanding and Viserys knew who it was in an instant.
“....Balerion…” he breathed in awe as those of Valyrian descent shifted away in fear from the god of death.
He seemed to not notice, offering a kind smile to the king who felt at ease around him.
“...Aye,” he nodded, pulling up a chair for the ill king who fell upon it in shock.
“....To what do we owe a visit from the gods of Valyria,’ Daemon asked, looking round with apprehension as he held Dark Sister in a tight grip.
“Down boy, nothing is to happen to you,” a man with flowing auburn locks snorted, coming beside him. “...But it’s what I like about you.”
“...Caraxes.”
“...In the flesh,” he smirked. “Vhagar! Get out here and see your bonded child,” he quipped, turning to the hidden alcove by the fireplace where a man was standing in the shadows.
He was sullen, eyes sunken in and his face was that of annoyance as he looked up to Caraxes with pure hatred before it went to Aemond.
“....No,” he rasped, looking away from the boy as Caraxes snorted.
“He has claimed the dragon Vhagar. Technically he is the boy you are to be bound to for the rest of his natural life-”
“I DON’T WANT HIM!”
Vhagar boomed, coming out with rage emanating from him as he stood next to a cowering Aemond.
“I don’t want him! Tesarion doesn’t want them, Gaelithox and Shrykos don’t want them. I wanted Rheana,’ he screamed, Arrax turning to him with a narrowed eye before snorting.
‘Then you should have devoured the fool when he tried,” he deadpanned, standing up with Luke in his grip, smiling as Vhagar sneered, stepping closer to the Blacks and ignoring Aemond.
“...Hmmm,” he huffed, coming to stand behind them all and keep an eye on the proceedings. “....Leana will always be better,” he grumbled, Daemon turning to him as he nodded, and looked away.
‘As to why we are here,'' Arrax began, handing Lucerys over to a woman with light pink hair and Targaryen eyes. “...I came to make balance,” he smiled, hands clasped behind him. “And with that…I must kill some of you.”
“....I see,” Viserys nodded, the gods shifting as Arrax nodded to Balerion who snapped his head to Cristion Cole, rounding on him in seconds and lifting him up by the throat.
“Cole,” Alicent screamed, the man choking as the god of death beheld him and sneered.
“...I’ve always hated you. Always bad mouthing. Calling the child of my bonded Targaryen a whore, loose woman…I will take great pleasure in this,” he whispered, squeezing his hand as Cole began to choke.
‘I beg of you please! Spare my sworn shield-”
``You are no Targaryen, you have born no Targaryen children, you have no say in this matter,” he snarled, Cole’s neck snapping in an instant and dropping him cold and dead on the floor before turning on her. “You have no say in any of what is going to happen tonight.”
“...I am a Targaryen,” Aemond spoke up, Balerion and Arrax turning to him with looks of displeasure on their faces.
“...Just because you have the looks, you claimed a dragon and are the son of the king…does not make you a Targaryen,” Balerion informed him, moving to Viserys who was scared, confused and unsure of what to do.
“The second who must die this night….I will do this myself,” Arrax nodded, the children quivering as he smiled at them before stalking right to Otto Hightower.
“Wh-NO,” Alicent screamed as Arrax grabbed the man’s shoulder and shoved his hand right through his chest, holding his heart as he whispered in his ear.
“Your treasonous actions cost me, Vermax and Tyraxes our children…but that ends tonight,” he murmured, ripping his arm back as Otto fell to the ground dead and Arrax turned around with a bright grin. In his hand was Otto’s heart that he held out to Rhaenyra, looking at her expectantly with a raised brow before she opened her mouth and took a bite.
Arrax smiled, nodding as he cupped her cheek and murmured that she did well; then moved one.
Arrax moved around to all of them; one by one: Daemon, Rhaenys, Jacaerys, Lucerys, Joffrey and Viserys before he turned to the Hightower children.
He took a single stepforward before Helaena took a step forward herself to the God and took a bite, Arrax nodding as a woman with a veil grabbed her and moved her to the side of the blacks.
He turned to Daeron who grabbed his hand, seeing a way out of Old Town and took a bite, a man with singed clothes coming to hold his shoulder as he pushed him by Joffrey who had blood all over his mouth.
Aegon and Aemond remained, Arrax turning to Aegon who shifted and looked at Arrax like he handed him the world.
“...Eat this and become a dragon,” Arrax commanded them, devoured heart outstretched like an offering. “Don’t…and forget about being protected by us.”
“...” Aegon wasted little time as he downed a goblet of wine and took out a chunk of heart with a groan before a woman ushered him to Daemon’s side.
Aemond remained.
“...” Arrax kneeled down, looking the boy right in the eye as he placed the last piece of heart down. They kept their eyes locked as Arrax reached a hand out and placed it over his wounded eye and all was silent.
Then Aemond screamed.
“NO! NO! NO! NO! VHAGAR! VHAGAR! LISTEN TO ME! LISTEN TO ME! NO, VHAGAR NO!” he screamed in pure agony before Arrax released him and stood up.
Aemond seized in his seat, gasping as Alicent rushed over from her father’s corpse to her son who turned to her in horror and smacked her hands away.
“...A…A good thing….even though you…you,” he panted, blinking as he tried to keep the future away from the present.
Arrax had moved on, letting Aemond go through his madness without help as he took Lucerys back with a croon of adornment, kissing his hair as he caressed his face and Rhaenyra got the sense something was very WRONG.
Her sons were being coddled as if they were the most precious things in the world by the Gods of Old Valyria.
But the adults were no different.
Caraxes had Daemon caged in his arms, head nestled in the junction between his head and shoulder as he spoke of the poor souls lost at sea. Anytime Daemon made a move to leave, his arms tightened around him and God gave him a warning snarl.
Meleys held Rhaenys close as she murmured to her sweetly about times long gone with Leanor and Laena, hands tightening as the Queen who Never Was tried to take her hands back. Her eyes flashed a bright pink in warning until she sat down with her Husband who knew naught what to say.
Viserys, her father, watched Aemond beside Balerion who held his shoulders with both his hands. Keeping him in his seat whenever he tried to move and eyeing him with a stern look when he went to argue. He began to massaged his shoulders to calm him down as Viserys relaxed into it, but kept his eyes trained on his daughter.
Rhaenyra herself felt the presence of Syrax, the god holding a goblet of wine in hand as he watched the proceedings beside her, smiling and grinning as he kept a hand around her waist and tightened his grip when she tried to move.
He gave her side eye every time, but cooed at the sight of Joffrey and Jacaerys.
“More hearts for budding Dragons like you,” he cheered, raising his goblet with a smile. “Perhaps that Cole fellow,” he grinned. ‘Eh, Tyraxes,” he asked eagerly, the goddess nodding as she bounced a scared Joffrey on her hip.
“Shall I get it?”
“...Oh look, he made his decision,” Syrax commented, Aemond stumbling over and looking right at Luke.
“...I-”
“Not a word,” Arrax commanded and all went silent. “...Now….shall I lay down the law,” he grinned, head cocking to the side.
And Rhaenyra felt as if everything was about to crumble all around them as Syrax held her tighter and shared a look with Caraxes.
Something very bad was about to happen.
