Louis Vuitton Amarante Vernis Monogram Sarah Wallet 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: vintage fair. Exterior - shows signs of a former life with somes marks and cracking to edges, most noticeable on the outer edge and where the purse folds. Interior - good vintage condition, some indentations to opening flap and small scratches. Hardware - small hairline scratches to hardware. (Please see images for full condition.) The Mulberry tree has become the iconic logo for luxury fashion house @mulberryengland and is instantly recognisable, however it has been adapted over the years. Vintage mulberry bags (like the Mulberry Josephine photographed above) will feature a tree with 30 leaves, they interfere with each other slightly, more “tree like” in its design. Newer mulberry bags feature a tree with 28 leaves; a slightly cleaner aesthetic. The latest seasonal pieces don’t feature the tree at all and their was a rumour that they were phasing it out. However it is good to see that the iconic turn-lock plate still has the tree rooted centre stage on the plaque, at least for now 🥰 Is Mulberry, even Mulberry without its iconic tree logo? When it comes to Chanel bags there is no more desirable model than the so called ‘sac a rabat’ or flap bag. The silhouette is timeless and elegant and the bag has always been considered ahead of its time, because of its design and the variety of ways it can be worn. The Vintage Edit is arriving on Wednesday 15th September 2021 and is the first installment of vintage pieces from @lovedtogo. The bags are beautiful and we cannot wait to share them with you. Vintage has become very popular in recent years with collectors romanticising a by gone era and striving to hold on to a piece of history. The true beauty in vintage is the craftsmanship. The saying "they don't make them like they used to" could not be more true when you carefully look over these pieces. They are not just a piece of history but a piece of art created by the true artisans of leather work - a time when consumerism wasn't the end goal but creating a timeless classic was. They were something to be desired, admired and loved. The items we have come wrapped in a story, their imperfections tell of their nights out and the love stories they have witnessed (if only they could tell us what they have seen). They are made to be loved and ours are ready to go on to their next chapter.
