i'm not requesting anything i just wanted to ask you if you had advice or tips for someone who wants to start writing aus like you do? i really want to start a blog like yours but i feel like it wouldn't be any good and i don't want people to think i'm trying to copy you or anyone. currently i only post fake texts and even tho it's a rlly small blog i want to expand to more stuff but idk if i should...

you caught me just before bed!! honestly, im not good at advice like this. but how we got this far is just continuously posting, putting out content, and interacting!!! thats a big part!!! you cant be a lifeless blog, ya feel??? get annoying witth it. post about ur day.

also, tag the shit!!!! out of!!! your posts!!!!! dhdbdhhd you can use one of my posts as references if you feel like it!!

as for posting au’s: its all about the timing. some au’s will get 5 likes in a week, some will get 200 in a week. its all a matter of timing, so ive learned: posting between 10:00 and 12:00 am is a good time to post, bc thats when tumblr is most active!! i also like to make teasers!! (a little bit of an extra mile, but it really gets the ball rolling, especially if its your first au! if you ever need some teasers/character profiles, hmu!!) also, don’t expect a post to get famous overnight! it takes months, love. another tip!!! you have to start somewhere. so the first few months of ur blog is… a little slow. thats okay!!! we went through the s a m e thing!! all blogs do. just keep posting content, listen to your followers, and sit back and enjoy what you have in this moment.

no one will think youre copying them!!! its perfectly normal to be a little apprehensive hdhdhd. as logn as ur not out here copy n pastong stories word for word, you can never copy anyone.

so 5+1 jabed came about bc I know remedial chaos theory is mostly a v trobed episode but I love jeff’s face when abed calls him a conniving son of a bitch so this is like a vaguely ~5 times abed surprises jeff and 1 time jeff gets him back~ kinda thing

springsteen road trip I will probably never post bc it is SO self-indulgent and pointless but im actually v much enjoying writing it, basically on my jeff loving springsteen bullshit again lol it takes place a year after the show ends and it’s basically abed taking jeff on a cross country road trip and seeing all the lil springsteen-related landmarks in jersey and just kinda rediscovering themselves as Them post-series

cooperative stationery is jeff as a greeting card writer and abed as an illustrator and their slow budding romance explored through the lil codes they leave each other in their cards <3 I may never finish this one but I really like the lore in this one with all the other characters too so we’ll see lol

Reader scenario with Jeno, like, Jeno gets jealous because Reader has been hanging out a lot with Jaemin or someone from another group (like Wanna One) and Jeno gets into an argument with Reader but it ends fluffy because Jeno confesses since he doesn’t want Reader to leave angry.

and jaemin is the one who has to listen to him rant about his feelings or how adorable you looked in that sweater or how amazing a color shines when you wear it

I bet his favorite memories are the times you spent together :”)

he’s actually good friends with you and jeno just never knew how close you were

but the day you told jaemin you were literally in love with jeno his whole heart melted and he wanted to support this concept

he probably teared up when you started talking about why you love him this much

“you know when he laughs and he smiles really wide and looks super happy?? that makes me feel the same way”

“I didn’t agree to hang out with you so I could cry,,”

this goes on for a few weeks because he has to make sure you two are perfect for each other
