Please remember: when you meet one or more dolphins, don't head towards them, but stay on the side of their direction of swimming to observe them and don't hinder our activities, if we are at work. 

As usual, we collected a lot of marine litter during our days out on the sea, included a net floating in the same area where we had this last sighting. At the end of the month, two alerts came from the north and south limits of the area we study with Roman Dolphin Project: the first one spotted some dolphins near  “Secche di Tor Paterno” Marine Protected Area; the other one came from the mouth of the Tiber. We had just come out with our boat, when the alert came: a group of 20 Tursiops between Ostia and Fiumicino were socializing and feeding in an area where several fishing boats were working. Among all these warnings, one is special: Fabrizio Proietti (Nautica Fabietti srl) spotted a beautiful Manta (Mobula mobular) near Ostia and took great photos of it!
