02082021. Quite a last minute meetup with my two army buddies. Fate brought us together in the same camp some 22 years old. Even though we are all busy with our family and careers but I'm glad that we made little sacrifices to meet up once in a while to update everyone of our current status. 04122020 - Holiday 05: (Part1). Today, the family travelled all the way to this area for some family matters and chanced upon this hawker centre and decided to settle our lunch here. As I was scouting for lunch for the family, I chanced upon this stall selling rojak and popian and was attracted by their sushi popian and decided to order a roll. The hawker was very particular with cleanliness and hygiene. She cleaned her hands thoroughly and preparing the food. The sushi is comprises of many simple ingredients put togethers. There are carrot strips, cucumber strips, turnip stripes, chicken floss, a piece of popian skin , a big sheet of dried seaweed and Mayonaise. The sushi popian has a very crunchy and refreshing taste. Due to the fact that the carrots, cucumbers and turnip strips were refrigerated, it gives the sushi this very cooling effect. The mayonaise gave the sushi popian an additional creamy texture and together with the crispy seaweed, makes this dish an excellent health dish for the young and old!
