Levi's been here for hours already and they haven't hardly looked his way. Or at all. He can't be sure if it was a trick of the light that made it seem like their gaze flashed his way. He wonders if everyone around him can feel how antsy he is. If they can see it in his eyes or the way he's standing just a step away from his friends to keep an eye on them. Levi knows that he's in too deep. He knows it was just a hook up, something that didn't matter, only he didn't get the memo. And Levi's always gone after everything he's wanted even if that something doesn't want him back. He can be very persuasive when he wants to be. Levi's been observant all night and he's drunk and he hates the way the other's leaned in close to someone else. Some delicate soft redhead. The opposite of him. the pounding in his head is relentless as the sun peaking through the curtains abruptly awakes him from his slumber. it takes a few moments for his eyes to adjust to his surroundings, vison slightly blurred by leftover sleep and the onset of a bad hangover. it's a stark reminder of why he stick to weed and typically avoids drink. it doesn't take long for him to feel the warmth of the body next to him, sleepy smile forming and then dropping when realization hits. shit. drunken mouths had uttered sober thoughts, i love yous thrown around like it was the easiest thing in the world to say. panic sets in, heart pounding. there's a hint of fear there, that maybe a night of fun and being open could be the thing that ends it all. what if lucian runs ? he fights it off, opts to act like nothing happened, hopes it will work. a lazy hand moves to rub his lovers arm, voice croaked. " babe— babe, are you awake ? i think i'm fucking dying. " there's a forced out chuckle as he inches closer, but behind his moves is quiet contemplation. he has no idea what to do in this situation, and honestly he half wants to cry. it makes him glad that the glazed over eyes can be blamed on the alcohol consumed the night before. because he doesn't want the other male to think he's pathetic. it had been a while since they had gotten a victory, so he felt like it had to be celebrated. leo was the last one to enter the bar, grin on his face when everyone seemed to cheer. it was just mostly his teammates though. with a cocky smirk he high-fived some of the guys before he leaned over the bar and ordered a round for everyone.
