something that makes me mad about my taste in fictional men is that I'm so goddamned predictable

most of the time they are royalty or at least a noble, good with swords, a sweetheart/jerk with a heart of gold, and (most of the time) have dark/blue hair

and even as I'm writing this, I'm noticing more and more of my favorite fictional men fit this criteria; Chrom, Kagetsu, Zihark, Hikari, Felix, Riley and Steven from Pokémon (they use Steel types, which is technically related to swords)

Gen 2: Seliph/Lana, Scathach/Julia (there's a story behind this!! no literally, a fanfic turned me onto this ship), Ced/Tine, Leif/Nanna, Ares/Lene, Patty/Coirpre (they're hilarious), Fee/Arthur

I'm so tired of these social media websites making decisions that are openly hostile to artists, Tumblr included

it makes me wonder (even more than I already do lmao) if posting art anywhere is even worth it anymore

my art is a part of me, and I share it to connect with others bc it's fun and it helps me branch out and meet new people

I dunno man, Tumblr is the last big place where I post stuff and I'm considering just leaving and quitting posting art altogether
