As seconds rush by quick

I ponder

What's beyond the iron door

I wonder if you know

That I heard before

Across the iron floor

The pitter patter of your feet

Can you stop

The cruel hand counting the minutes

The hand that wants to cut itself off

The hand that rocks the world

Has it given you your second chance yet?

Listen to the ticking clock

I'd rather we could

Be here at the end of it all
