El Cazador De La Bruja episode 19! Warning, this post is a LONG ONE. This episode was certainly SOMETHING! Don't expect me to talk about anything other than ElliNad because I will not. Not even the cool plot relevant stuff! Want to hear more about the episode? Go to @hydrangeawise's post about it!

SO. Oh boy! Starting off strong with some guy mistaking Nadie and Ricardo for a married couple. Nobody is pleased by this, least of all Ellis for reasons that will become all too apparent through the episode. I'll admit, the moment I saw this I was very hyped up because I could guess EXACTLY what kind of episode this was!

So, they get trap tickets to a fancy restaurant and all go together. Sadly the trap involves Nadie and Ricardo sitting together, and Ellis and Lirio sitting in another table. And wow, Ellis does NOT like that at all! There was even a couple behind her being all lovey-dovey, it was not a good time! A compilation below.

The lights start going out for short periods of time as part of the trap, and every time that happens, Ricardo rushes to Lirio to protect her. Nadie... stays at her table, initially pulling out her gun but chilling later on. Ellis doesn't like that either! Poor girl just wishes Nadie would come to her :( Lirio gets sent to eat with the others as part of the trap which, wow, Ellis looks a LOT like a kicked puppy after that. View the second image below.

Ellis gets kidnapped by the Girl Posse, and Nadie finally springs into action! It's not like she doesn't care, obviously she does, quite a lot! But this episode is where they make that clear to Ellis! Btw, if you were to take a shot every time Nadie said Ellis's name, you'd probably be drunk by the end of this episode.

So, shenanigans happen, and they come rescue Ellis from a car that she blows up with her powers, sending her high into the air. Witness the scene here, where we thought for a second that they missed each other's hands, but really managed to grab on! That's peak cinema, always.

After Nadie pulls her down, they have the following exchange: N"Are you okay?" E"You came for me." N"You dummy. Of course I did.". Ohh, the way Ellis snuggles up to Nadie afterwards... I'm dead. Something about this episode being about Ellis wanting Nadie to come to her, meet her halfway, because she hadn't heard the promises we'd heard Nadie make! She wanted to be more sure of their mutual care!!!! oughhhhhhhh

So after this, Ellis is VERY handsy with Nadie for the rest of the episode. She literally sprints to grab Nadie's hand and drag her to their car, where she proceeds to cuddle up to her and have the following iconic conversation.

Here's the shrotened version! E"Do we look like husband and wife?" N"Husband and wife are man and woman..." E"It doesn't matter.". Go girl! She knows what she wants now and that's Nadie!!!! Awesome!!!!

Side note, L.A. sees all this happen, and boy is he mad about it!

The ending narration is very humorous to me, but I think it also highlights the very overt feelings Ellis demonstrated towards Nadie this episode: "Ellis, the artificial witch, has no capacity for emotions. That report is already a thing of the past." Sure is!

Lately I've been watching the Bee Train girls with guns trilogy, and I'm on El Cazador De La Bruja now! So, inspired by my watch buddy, @hydrangeawise, I'm going to make short posts talking about the episodes and the characters as I go, starting from ep 7.

Let's quickly recap my thoughts on all of the characters first! Nadie, I love her, she's an icon and incredibly kind. Tries hard to seem like a badass but we mostly see her shoot to disarm so I think she's a softie (mostly... who knows what happened to those guys last episode!). Ellis, my beloved weirdling, she's also an icon and way too naive for her own good, but it's fairly charming. I love her dynamic with Nadie, their silly little banter and yessirs warm my heart <3

Camera guy makes me want to throw up and throw him in hell. Not much more to say about him, yuck. Big Guy and tiny kid (Lirio?) seem interesting, their roles in the narrative so far are kind of unclear but I think I'm getting it. Glasses guy is VERY suspicious and definitely up to no good. Office lady seems to be up to yes good, rooting for her!

SO! Ep 7! I enjoyed this one! It's probably the closest we're going to get for a beach/pool episode, so I'll take it. It's good to see our best girls get to just relax and enjoy themselves once in a while. That includes Lirio, who joins the duo while waiting for Big Guy to return. Her dynamic with Ellis and Nadie is absolutely adorable, and I hope we get more of it in the future.

It was also good to see Camera Guy get his ass kicked by Big Guy. God what a creep. I feel like BG's role here is to supervise CG, and handle him in case he goes out of control, which is exactly what happened this episode. By extension, he's probably also monitoring Ellis, but who knows with these Bee Train shows, honestly!

This episode we finally got out long awaited "there was only one bed" moment, for real this time! Unfortunately it was cut short because Nadie is not the ideal bed buddy (is that why she takes the chair?) but they make up for it by *gasp* pre-marital handholding. They're cute together :}
