Soon, Abhay Deol and Brendon Fraser will be a part of a movie called ‘Line of Descent. ’ It is a crossover movie which has been titled previously ‘The Field.’ Through this movie, writer director Rohit Karn Batra will be making his debut. In this movie, you may able to see Neeraj Kabi, Ronit Roy, Ali Haji and Prem Chopra also.

By ZEE5, streaming rights of the movie has been acquired. Ensemble cast will be seen in the movie with Gopal Dutt, Vishesh Chachra, Anisha Angelina Victor, Shiben Mohanty, Dev Bhagtani and Jagen Mohanty.

Pre-production stage of the project has started back in the year 2016. Shooting of the movie has begun only two months after. The movie ‘Line of Descent’ can be seen in both English and Hindi.

Regarding the movie, Abhay Deol has posted on the social media and said “I love it when an independent film (yes I’m still making them) of mine gets the promise of a good release! Not only is my film “Line Of Descent” but it will also get a US theatrical release by Gravitas Ventures on the 13th of December. This film is too racy and too real for an Indian theatrical unfortunately, but it will premier exclusively on Zee5 in India, the date is yet to be decided. It is Directed by Rohit Karn Batra and produced by @guylouthan”

“Besides the fact that it has some very great actors like Brendan Fraser, Ronit Roy and Neeraj Kabi, I was most excited to see Mr. Prem Chopra on screen after such a long time. Line Of Descent gets new trailer, releases December 13

A new trailer has been released for Line Of Descent, which is set to release December 13, 2019.

'Line of Descent' follows a dysfunctional mafia family of three brothers as they fight over their fathers estate, while a cop (Abhay Deol) carries them to their tragic ending. Meanwhile, a boisterous arms dealer (Brendan Fraser) is thrust in the family war, though a mole in his criminal enterprise, and all worlds fuse into one.
