it's really interesting how school does their hardest to make a system where cooperation is prohibited and despised

Every number and grade goes to the individual and not the collective, making people separate eachother and feel like their worth and work and productivity is something that you can only improve by yourself. Group projects are extremely rare and not required for teachers to assign, and whenever a class or a large group of students choose to work together it is most commonly implied that they did it for something "evil" like cheating on exams or playing a prank

If it weren't for the mandatory teacher breaks, hence the creation of recess, students would not be encouraged at all to talk to eachother and make friends and play together

It's not a surprise to learn that the modern concept of school and education was created during the industrial revolution by companies
