Laios Touden :]

First impression: i loved him a lot!!! he was so funny and good!! he was one of the characters i saw before i actually got into the series, but i never thought much of him so i really did not expect him to be such a fun character, every chapter i read just made me love him more.

Impression now: love of my life maybe... he's my favorite dungeon meshi character and considering how much i love the entire cast that says a lot. hes a great character and an amazing protag and i dont get tired of thinking about him, he makes me so so happy.

Favorite moment: i simply cannot have just one specific favorite moment of him. right now... lets say all his moments with falin are favorites of mine, i love siblings and i love suffering :)

Idea for a story: laios writing a book about his experience with monsters, monster cuisine, and his discovery of the true nature of living armors after the series ends and he gets his happy ending 😊

Unpopular opinion: too many people infantilize him... he is a man in his late twenties he has been independent for years now and he worked his ass off to get to where he is he is no baby lmao. also i think he would like to have some sex actually

Favorite relationship: his relationship with falin... i truly love all of his relationships but i cant stop thinking abt these siblings, i want them to be together again 😭😭 i think what makes their relationship so interesting to me is that he wasnt the perfect brother and he couldnt be there for her when she needed him, and he blames himself for that (although he was just a kid having too much on his own plate too). theres so so much love and understanding and admiration between them but so is guilt and many years of being separated and missing each other dearly. the current events in the manga are also... god... he is doing it all for her and if it isnt enough i dont know what i will do i really dont know.

Favorite headcanon: again i dont have just one favorite... i like to think he became a lot more protective of falin after her magical powers became known to the entire village- having fights with other kids that dared harming or badmouthing her or even making her cry on rare occasions, him comforting her after she wakes up from nightmares because their mother doesnt want her to come to their parents' bedroom at night anymore, she doesnt want to hear abt her nightmares that now seem much more terrifying and freaky to her, so falin ends up coming to laios because hes the only family member that isnt scared of her in this house, and in the past he would get annoyed at her for waking him up in the middle of the night but the moment she tells him that mom and dad said "they cant help me and they say i need to stay in my room" he shuts up and lets her sleep with him for the night.
