I mean, I gotta give it to anime and manga and their creators for sometimes telling stories based one one very specific cultural element that has been left behind in the globalization and internationalization of media market and create entire plots revolving teams of people who love that specific art, game, instrument, practice, etc and make it interesting and contagious. It’s a good way to bring back culturally forgotten elements and also to spread their existence elsewhere, idk.
