I clench my fist in rage anytime someone willfully ignores scientific fact because ~uwu this is more fun though~ when the science is actually really fucking cool and way more inspired

And I don't mean just having little theories and beliefs that personally make you happy and the world brighter for you I mean straight up denying scientific fact because it ruins your made up perception of the world
