v13.5 has given me the biggest love/hate relationship with rejuv that wasn't there when i first it played with v13 sorry

#bwark #rejuv lb #rejuv spoilers #emery and i were just talking about it but this update feels very.....reborn-esque #and that's not a good thing #dgmw rejuv is still nowhere near at the same level as reborn but. it feels like it's starting to get there #the puzzles are definitely becoming more of ame's brand of bullshit #stuff like the ending of vivian's regret just come across as very mean-spirited for no reason #and i mentioned this before with the tower of theolia section but it feels more and more like the tone is going all over the place #like i praise rejuv over reborn for how it handles its opening #the attack on the ship is treated with the seriousness it deserves even though there aren't any casualties #meanwhile reborn starts off with a terrorist attack on a train where most of the passangers die and immediately afterwards you're introduced #to a character who's like ''LMAO XD that explosion was pathetic i could've done a better job than the terrorists aren't i so quirky and #random XDDDDD'' and you're fucking supposed to like this person??? #so rejuv handles the opening a lot better but other serious and tense moments tend to get ruined by an awkward misplaced joke or something #and like of course that's nowhere near as bad as reborn's mess but i'm starting to get concerned
