Like Old Times

Okay so… this is likely my first Naruto fanfic? That’s pretty cool lol. Anyway I really love this friendship so much. Ugh Naruto angsts really hits you where it hurts. So what better than to make fluffy content out of it!

Warnings: None really aside from that this is a tickle fic, so if that’s not your thing… then just keep scrolling lol

Summery: Itachi and Shisui call back to a time when they were younger.

“Well there you are! And here I was just wondering where you had gotten off too.” Shisui Uchiha smirked as Itachi just landed another kunai into a target. Itachi had gone to a grassy field with targets he could use for practice. They both got a lot older since they first met. Back then Itachi was just a newly made Chunin.

Itachi looked back and smiled a bit. He always had a gentle look on his face that Shisui couldn’t help admiring. It gave him a look as if he was always calm and composed.

“What’s up Shisui?” Itachi asked as he picked up three more Kunai to throw at the target.

Shisui just chuckled and shrugged. “Nothing. I got bored and wanted to see what you were up to Itachi.”

Itachi smiled and threw all three Kunai directly in the center of another target. Shisui whistled. “Wow. You’ve gotten really good since we were younger.”

Itachi chuckled a little sheepishly. “Not really. I still believe I have some ways to go.”

Shisui raised an eyebrow. “If you have ways to go then that’s just an insult to my own abilities.”

Itachi chuckled more at that. “Are you trying to say that I’m better than you?”

Shisui scoffed. “No way in hell! I’m totally stronger than you are!” He insisted proudly with a frown.

Itachi smirked slightly. “You sound so sure about that.”

Shisui grinned back, sensing the playfulness. It seemed he was being challenged. He hadn’t heard that tone from Itachi since they were Chunin.

“Want to put that to the test?” He raised an eyebrow slowly.

Itachi just answered by getting in a battle stance and smirking more. Shisui responded with a stance of his own.

As soon as they prepared themselves, they lunged at one another, dueling it out without holding back.

Itachi threw punches and high kicks. He was extremely skilled with Taijutsu for only being thirteen. He pulled off very advanced moves for his young age.

Shisui however was more experienced and skilled. He managed to corner Itachi down to the floor.

“Hah! I win again.” Shisui smirked smugly.

Itachi raised an eyebrow. “Is that so?”

Out of nowhere, before Shisui could fully pin him down, Itachi broke away and lunged for the brunette. Shisuis eyes widened in surprise. He yelped and fell back onto the grass, curling up immediately to protect himself and erupting into giggles. Itachi, of course, followed him down.

“W-wahahait wahahahait!!! N-nohoho tihihihicklihihng nohohohot fahahahair!!!!” He cried out, kicking and squirming around wildly as Itachi pinched up and down his sides.

“You’re considered one of the strongest young Shinobi in the Uchiha clan and you can’t handle a bit of tickling?” Itachi teased with a chuckle, raising an eyebrow again.

Shisui spluttered and squealed as he tried and failed to evade his younger friends fingers.

When Itachi went under his shirt found the softness of his bare abdomen, Shisui shrieked and curled up tighter, his giggles turning into frantic and panicked cackles.

“NAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHOT THEHEHEREHEHE IHIHITAHAHACHIHIHIHI!!!!” He cried out desperately. No matter how much he curled up he couldn’t seem to stop the fingers moving.

Itachi chuckled at the sight of his friend completely helpless and fallen apart as he failed to evade the tickles.

Eventually Shisuis laughter went near silent and he couldn’t seem to draw breath, which signaled to Itachi that he should probably stop.

When the black ponytailed shinobi retracted his hands, Shisui lay back, panting and trying to catch his breath.

“D-dahahamn ihit… wh-what the hehehell…” Shisui mumbled through his deep breaths.

Itachi let out a small soft chuckle. “You haven’t change at all Shisui.”

Shisui was pretty quick in regaining his composure. Now he was smirking. “Oh really? If that’s true I doubt you changed much as well!” Shisui lunged for Itachi of nowhere, attempting to tickle him.

Itachi erupted into soft giggles as he squirmed under the older shinobi.

“Shihihihisuhuhuiii!!!” Itachi cried out, trying to push at his friend.

Shisui laughed. “Come on Itachi, I thought you were smart. Surely you realized how ticklish you were yourself and saw this coming…” He prodded and kneaded up and down Itachis sides as the younger boy squirmed and laughed under him.

Shisui then smirked. “That is unless you were… looking for this outcome…”

Itachis face turned a bright red at that. “Shuhuhuhut uhuhuhup yohohohu dihihihick….”

Shisui scoffed in mock outrage. “Me?! A dick?! Oh you’re SO getting it now…”

Shisui moved his hands towards Itachis hips and started massaging and kneading into them deeply.

Itachi let out a wheeze and dissolved into hysterical cackles as he thrashed and kicked his legs wilding, his hands pulling desperately at the brunettes wrists.

Shisui just smirked as he watched his best friend completely breaking down. For as long as he knew, Itachi always had that one spot on his hips that had always had him practically done for.

“SHIHIHISUHUHUIHIHIHI PLEHEHEHAHASE!!!!” Itachi cried out through more wheezes. His leg kicking weakening a bit.

Shisui just chuckled and smirked more. “Y’know Itachi, I gotta say… you’ve claimed many times before that you hate being tickled… and yet here you are not even asking me to stop… what’s up with that, hm?”

Shisui teased him as he massaged deeper into the inner part of his hips.

Itachi let out a loud scream, followed by more cackles. He kicked his legs more.

“OHOHOKAHAHAHYYY OHOHOHOKAHAHAHYYY!! STAHAHAHAHAP PLEHEHEHAHASE!!!” Itachi weakly pushed at Shisui, not even trying to defend himself, but almost as a sign that he was trying to tap out already.

Shisui picked up on this and chuckled, retracting his hands from Itachis hips. Itachi needed a few moments to catch his breath. Soon he composed himself and slowly sat up.

“That… that was evil.” He gasped out softly.

Shisui just chuckled and smirked. “You liked it though.”

“N-no I… I…” His face tinted a bright red once more.

Shisui just laughed harder. Itachi frowned, his eyes narrowing with annoyance. Itachi then suddenly tackled him once again.

“W-woah!!” Shisui cried out and fell back.

Itachi smirked down at him softly.

“Now let’s see who “likes it.”

Shisui & Itachi Uchiha

Group Headcanon (Instead of two separate headcanons, I’m combining these two together)

Itachi and Shisui are great friends. To Itachi, Shisui is to him what he is to Sasuke. Both of them have their moments and quirks, which interestingly enough include tickling. Both considered geniuses within not just the Uchiha clan but all of Konoha is a stressful and mentally draining task, so tickling is one of those things that just lets them relax.

Shisui Uchiha

ler:

As the designated Ler of the group, Shisui is a master tickler. His open and playful nature combined with his skillful fingers and all-seeing eyes allow for him to maximize his talents.

Shisui uses his talent for shunshin with ninja wire/rope to restrain and overwhelm his ticklish foes. Interestingly enough, this makes it really hard to tickle him as well.

Among the Uchiha duo, Shisui is also the tickle lover, in comparison to Itachi, and utilizes it to both Itachi and Sasuke as well as to random genin and chunin in the village as a "training" tactic.

He tends to read the body of his victims and focuses on their most ticklish spots, then when he gets a good enough read, he uses tools and oil to really bring out the hysteria... Ibiki actually used to request him as a junior interrogator, due to his uncanny talents XD.

Lee:

While quick and dangerous as a ler he's not above being tickled himself and is actually sensitive enough to it to get revenge on. Usually, close friends and family can get a chance to tickle him back, usually as revenge for his cheeky and mischievous nature.

When threatened with tickling, he usually makes his ticklers work for it by shunshining away and having them waste their time and energy to catch him.

Most ticklish under his armpits, under his toes, and across his belly. Tickling him in either of these spots guarantees sharp laughter and a chase across the village to get away.

Armpits

Tickling here makes Shisui jump out of his skin. By far the worst spot, and one that makes him live up to his moniker. 

Toes

A hard to tickle spot that only those he trusts most get to tickle. Tickling here really makes him laugh and is a favorite of Sasuke.

Belly 

Abs and lower belly are very ticklish, especially to soft touch. Tickling here will make him wriggle and squirm around in an effort to flee. 

Itachi Uchiha

Ler:

Not as big a lover as Shisui, Itachi is a methodical tickler more than a passionate one. As such his times as a ler are more utilized during interrogations and revenge against Shisui or against his little brother Sasuke.

Despite not having the ler gene like Shisui, he is still a brutal tickler, having an almost innate sense of where his victim is most ticklish. As well as utilizing his absolute mastery of genjutsu to make the victim more ticklish.

Tickling Sasuke is his favorite bonding activity and has never failed to make him truly smile.

Lee:

Itachi is not as ticklish as Shisui or Sasuke but that has not stopped them both from using him as a test subject XD. Shisui has openly stated that he enjoys wiping the stoic Uchiha expression off Itachi's face.

As the subject of Shisui's mischievous nature and Sasuke's admiration and sibling rivalry, Itachi has gained a solid mastery of evasion skills and resistance training. His fondest memory of tickling is of him and Sasuke teaming up and catching Shisui for his birthday and giving the older teen a ticklish workout

Itachi is most ticklish on his sides and ribs, then on his armpits. His feet have never been tested by either Shisui or Sasuke, to the formers chagrin and the latter's indignation. Even up till his death, he doesn't know if he's actually ticklish there.

Sides:

Itachi’s worst spot and one Shisui focused on most. Tickling here made him bark out laughter and instigated a “fight” between the two friends (hehe)

Ribs:

A spot that without fail made Itachi jump, even as an almost adult and Akatsuki member. Known by Shisui as the musical Uchiha because of the notes he made when tickling here.

Armpits:

Tickling here made Itachi cackle and laugh, a spot that hasn’t been touched since Shisui died and Itachi fled the village... ending a legacy of ticklish Uchiha’s and passing what was left to Sasuke.
