Today, August 19th is named as the World Humanitarian Day to bring light to the undeniable service provided by all humanitarians across the globe and to pay tribute to them. Their mere act of kindness towards millions of people who are undergoing varying crisis situations in different parts of world truly deserve honoring. And this year as the 10th anniversary of World Humanitarian Day, the United Nations has paid the special tribute to tens of thousands of women humanitarian aid workers who provide vital support in bringing due assistance to those who are in need. Their motherly affection and the boldness to conquer every obstacle they face while risking their own lives surely make the aid operations more effective. It is with utmost pride that we commemorate the World Humanitarian Day this year while emphasizing the service rendered by women humanitarians around the world.
