love my cheat sheet post because people has assumed:

im a comic book purist and i consider fanfiction an aberration, plain wrong and that people cannot write well

I stick to "canon" DP lore and despise people that don't do the same

you guys couldn't be more wrong :D

The thing about being in fandom is that you will coexist with people that like the opposite trope, like a ship you hate, has a headcanon that is totally NOT how you interpret your blorbo.

I'm a fandom old

Live and let live, fam.

And I will fight to the death to defend people's right to be weird and creative and make changes in the characters I love and just use the canon material as a springboard to test their writing skills.

One day, they may realize their take on a character is so far removed from canon that at that point is an OC. Maybe they won't.

But I won't be a piece of shit and tell them that their beloved stories and characters are a disgrace to the source material.

I don't - just closing the tab is easier than writing a heated comment that would only bring pain.

Is not that hard.
