okay!! so, favorite super paper roblox characters.

tess and scriptliss, lol. hands down, no competition. realistically this is just another case of me getting attached to tragic characters on sight, but look. their story is one of the most compelling parts of this entire game. is it poorly executed like everything else in this entire game? yep. is it still really, really interesting? oh yes. absolutely.

aside from my "immediate attachment" characters though, i've actually been also really liking dusekkar, lanter, and wiscara as of late.

as for least favorite characters...

i don't think i unironically dislike any of the spr characters in a "i am genuinely annoyed / uncomfortable / mad when you're on screen" kind of way. like, sure, aristris is terrible as a person and i wouldn't want anything to do with him irl, but i also think he's really funny. i just think he reasonably should've gone to jail at the end of the game.

i guess i might kind of dislike cogen. i don't hate him, but i skip most of his early chapter 8 dialogue 'cause it's just a bunch of information dumping that is hard to grasp and really doesn't make sense to be coming from him.

my thing about cogen is he's supposed to be a piece of scriptiss's soul, but he's basically just used as another aaron o'naare, and as a result of that decision he knows way more than he logically should.

if cogen is a piece of scriptliss, then he should know what scriptliss knows and nothing else imo. it's fine if he still has a different personality. he could be a facet of scriptliss's personality he doesn't show much, or an exaggerated version of it. but it does not make sense for him to be the bearer of all knowledge.

but!! i rest my case, lol.

SPR: BAD ENDING. (1x1x1x1 n' Scriptliss edition).

Scriptliss fails to beat 1x and ends up being corrupted, forced to become one with the elemental of void. Script will now follow 1x everywhere. That was intentional, as it is like a living demonstration of what would happen if someone tries to challenge 1x (although he will probably send Scriptliss to fight for him).

As I said before, Script does not have emotions, but not permanently, we could say that it is like a reset in his emotions. Let's say his memories were erased, he doesn't remember anyone else, and he only sees 1x as the only one he has to respect.

But he can still think, and speak, but most of the time he is quiet. Scriptliss is just, lost, confused and disoriented.

At some point he could be separated from 1x and he would only transport Script back to him. (He is very quiet and runs off very easily, who knows what it would do without his common sense).

Now, I have as a headcanon that 1x likes to talk a lot, but nobody listens to him. So let's say he got a guardian, a "puppet," and a great listener, 3x1 !

Scriptliss would start to develop more thoughts and emotions during those talks, 1x would be "teaching" Script new things.

Someday he would develop a unique and different personality than before, but he will never regain his memory back. But for now, he's an empty demon.

And then, there's Cogen, who... uh, yeah, he's still the same (corrupted) vessel of information, but he is also lost as Scriptliss is. (And also is grey instead of red, same with Script, the two of them are black/grey/white color scheme). Cogen got straight up corrupted when Scriptliss got possessed.

"Fun" fact: The bandages that Scriptliss has in his body, cover the wounds he had in the battle with 1x.

Another "fun" fact: Those bandages have been there for weeks, 1x does not want to remove them because supposedly, Script looked great, although it is also for something else.
