alright, eula story spoilers time

shes kind of got that cryo thing going on, where shes a self-fufilling prophecy. so basically, from what i can interpret, she seems like more of a defensive person? theres a lot of stuff in her story about how, as she tried to stray from her family and become more of a normal citizen, she was never able to shake off her family name, and how it was hard for her to even do normal tasks like buying groceries and shed have to go eat in the woods until amber became her friend. so i think she has a lot of hold overs from that.

she also seems to play into peoples assumptions about her. i suppose because she thinks their thoughts are set in stone, so its an easier way to deal with it? along with this, theres also a detail in her story whch i found very interesting- it says she started using her classic "i will get my revenge" on people because its her way of deescalating the situation, ironically. its described in her story as a "magic word" because shed say it and shed finally get to be left alone, so she started using it liberally.

breaking down her general demeanor a bit more, i think shes meant to be a mix of the haughty aristocrat ("how dare you?!") but is also genuinely a defnsive/highly guarded person who isnt use to kindness enough to put up any kind of other front. her family is described as "borderline abusive" with how they try to hammer it into kids about bringing back glory to their aristocracy. moreover, i think she still has a tendency to take things personally, since a big point was made of not letting yourself be disgraced, id assume, another reason hence why she probably goes to "revenge" so much. i honestly think she just gets embarrassed easily as well.

ahh, i love analyzing characters. now im inspired.



I-- oh...okay damn I kinda relate then, being defensive over nothing is a major flaw of mine and it's derived from people attacking me left and right as a child, I got used to that and now everything feels like a fight- wow this fits. Maybe I disliked Eula bc she reminds me of me /j

That's actually really cool though, I love how Hoyo showcases different coping mechanisms with each character! I did know about her family and I hate them all, poor girl deserved better.

I'm having a ton of fun replaying Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I really like exploring and collecting items in video games. Besides that, have you played Kazuha's and Heizou's story quests/hangout event? Kazuha appears a lot in the event as well. I like Heizou's character so far. I finished Kazuha's quest and I'm almost done with Heizou's hangout! I absolutely adore Heizou, he's one of my favorites now <33 If you've seen Bungou Stray Dogs, he reminds me a lot of Ranpo! He's a detective who's insanely good at his job, though some call him a slacker. He's a jokester, he's lighthearted, he's fun and free-spirited, and he's a bit cheeky-- it's perfect! Ranpo is one of my all time favorite characters so Heizou brainrot heavy rn

Im so sorry i know you've had like three different nonnies talk about this, but i can definitely see albedo forgetting to take care of himself and make appointments for himself at times.

Like, he probably hasn't seen a dentist in three years because of his cramped schedule (definitely not self-projecting) and one day he wakes up with a HORRIBLE toothache and is like, "Hm, this is interfering with my research, but I will proceed to work anyways." and literally keeps experimenting, despite the internal suffering.

When he obviously will not eat or talk, Sucrose and Kaeya have to forcefully, and i mean FORCEFULLY drag him to the dentist after prying open his mouth and just sit there in disapproval while he has like four root canals.

I also feel like Albedo would be the type of person to experiment on his braces and accidentally break them by accident at least 7 times. He has Klee pick his braces colors for him, even if it's pink.

He also probably believes that he's smart enough to not need a dentist, only going when he knows there's a serious problem. I also feel like he has a higher pain tolerance, so he just pops an ibuprofen and calls it a day.

Sucrose and Kaeya bonding over caring for Albedo sksughu that's a really cute thought- HE WOULD and he probably tried to tighten them on his own too so that he didn't have to stop working.

that's...one of the cutest hc's I've seen so far... I bet Klee picks color patterns too, and she's always so proud of them! People probably laugh when they see the hot pink, red, and orange bands but Albedo just carries on like the good older brother he is 💪💪

Yeah I actually didn't know that the regions were based off actually places in the world! When I was re-designing my Genshin ocs I decided to look up where the regions were based and tuned their skin tones :> so now my Sumeru and Natlan characters have darker tones and I think they look amazing!!

So now out of the 9 characters I have, 3 of them have darker skins, I made 2 of them like pale >that's mostly because they are based off my friends who are from those countries< And the rest of them have kinda fair skin tones? Im not very good with coloring skin and choosing a good shade but I tried to work with grayscale and I think they all turned out pretty good :>

Yeah, it's pretty neat! You can see how each region's original culture influenced the land itself, which I really like. Like the German architecture and food/drink in Mondstadt, the lantern festivals and Chinese traditions in Liyue, the Japanese clothing and political hierarchy in Inazuma, and then the Hindu, Buddhist, etc. influence on Sumeru's naming, the list goes on!

AHH I'm so happy to hear that- and I'm glad you like them! I also think having your friends as inspo is really cool :0 I'm weirdly bad with colors and they always end up being either desaturated or lighter than intended, so thankfully the color mapping tool has my back.

Hello, I just saw the leak about Sumeru characters, I think in the future they will release black characters. Currently I heard from my friend that Sumeru is divided into 2 regions namely desert and tropical rainforest. So I guess the white characters are from the tropical rainforest. I also heard that Sumeru has a lot of things so the current leaks are only a few.

WOOO I HOPE SO- also I'm still holding out hope for south asian characters, I never see any of those. The half and half split makes sense too, I have seen those rumors. There is quite a while until Sumeru, so I'm definitely holding out hope! If nothing else, no doubt Hoyo has seen the complaints and will hopefully work on it.

Sometimes when it gets out of hand, he's more aggressive with it too! Like the aggressive affection where people are "screaming" at you but it's all nice things, or where they aggressively tuck you into bed, that kinda thing. Only if you're comfortable with it though.

Mhm mhm! He also does this when he thinks or concentrates really hard on something- poke the space between his furrowed eyebrows (the glabella, he'd correct you) and he snaps out of it.

YES! He does! Sometimes if he grabs too many, he'll lie and say it was on sale so that you didn't feel bad about him going out and buying 37 packs of your favorite snack.

i was so close to defeating the perpetual mechanical array in spiral abyss😭 but hu tao’s team comp wasn’t able to kill it in 2 mins 😭 now m over here sobbing at that fact

I got 8/9 stars on floor 11 and 5/6 stars on floor 12-- so close to another 100 primos and both were off by just a few seconds </3 death to the abyss I say

So I've finished the poem (just need to type it out) and started the drawing. The drawing might take a while though, it's surprisingly difficult. This is the first time I've drawn anything in months. Also, Yanfei has now done 20k damage (I ascended her so that's good). Xiao has now done 39k damage with his burst. Still need to level their talents. (Xiao-8,8,8; Yamfei 5,9,9) -poetry anon

My Yanfei is currently at level 80, I think her highest damage is about 17k. I really need to level her talents and maybe redo her artifacts. I finished your origami, I just need to bother my sister. Cat has been really distant, maybe it's the change in weather. She usually cuddles us during winter, but in the summer she sits on her throne (her cat tree) and looks down on us. -poetry anon
