Nanavali or Nanvel Lighthouse Secluded place and only way to reach is on feet with 30-45 mins exhaustive walk. Official visiting hours are 4PM to 5PM only. Carry your food and lots of water. There are two ways to start for a walk, the first one from Kaal Bhairav Mandir / Temple and another one 2 km far from Temple and right before we start descending towards Sarve village. The first one is a bit lengthy walk and elevation changes drastically, and goes completely through hills. Parking can be done near the Temple. The second one starts near a small Cattle shed (no other human presence nearby) and parking is almost on the main road, in the middle of nowhere. But the walk is awesome and less tiresome. It reaches the sea shore you are seeing in this photo and then again climbs towards the lighthouse. Near shore there is a fresh water stream flowing through farm land and meeting the sea, and that is the land mark to start ascending back to the parked vehicle.
