i was advised to use ledian in sacred gold/storm silver romhack by a fellow autism haver and. my brother in christ i planned to. i love bug types so much ledian is such an underrated pokemon and i was so glad they buffed it. but. but all these shinies. look at them. i had to build a whole separate team just to fight the ice gym i am DROWNING in shinies that are weak to ice and/or rock i canNOT add a ledian to my rotation

#i got 2 shiny nincadas btw but i just didn't evolve one of them bc there was no point #i also got the lake of rage gyarados AND a shiny magikarp which if i chose to evolve ut would be. another 2 flying types in total #when i found that ariados i was looking for a vulpix with its hidden ability for my ice gym team bc my plan #was originally to train up the fire starters i had along with the arcanine i had and then get a vulpix with a better nature and drought #and then i was gonna say fuck you to his hail and have a sun-centric team #i was thinking to myself. genuinely. as i looked for this vulpix. that i would be cool to get a shiny #then boom shiny ariados #so anyways i ended up just. catching some already high-level pokemon in the safari zone #so i wouldn't have to train them and just taught them some new moves (except my quagsire who already had a great moveset) #and then also training up a lucario bc i knew lucario would fucking SLAY #and slay she did #although surprisingly it was my quagsire setting up rain for my kingler that did most of the work and made the battle easier #kingler is. a lot stronger than i thought #im pretty sure they buffed it a bit in this romhack but it was already pretty tough #kingler baby im sorry i ignored you bc you're not so pretty you are so so strong and valid ily #my kingler's name is bonk btw. if you even care. bc he smack u with crabhammer
