To put it simply, god doesn’t like Rob. Bro really said “mmmyeaa this one is kinda boring” and sent him into the void (literally). Miraculously he got out, but his home, familly and basically everything he cared for is gone. Not to mention he became physically deformed in the process. This 13 year old little boy is now homeless without a purpose. And no one seems to be concerned for him. Please give this boy a home, he needs some good parents to take care of him and a nice cup of hot chocolate.

Ahhh the Kenzie interlude. Fuck.

You get stuck in a situation where you're forced to play at being a family. The mom cooks and everyone's grateful and if you're not acting grateful then you're a horrible daughter and you need to be broken into your role. Everyone knows how a family is supposed to be, now act the part or there'll be fucking consequences. And she ends up flipping it on them, forcing them to play at being a loving mother and father for her in the same way they forced her to act like the daughter they wanted. And she sits there, eating dinner with people who try to poison her given a moments chance, and she can't be happy! She's tasted what this is supposed to be like, what its like to have parents who love you! But they're being great parents to some other kids instead because you fucked it up! So instead she complements her mother's cooking and eats her dinner while trying not to think about her face getting smashed into a dinner plate. "That's family." Christ.

God, thinking of it as an camera-based power is focusing on the wrong thing. She makes projections. She makes things that appear realistic but don't have substance and fall away at a touch. She's been wearing a projection to hide her scar the whole time we've known her. Her whole life is making masks to try and get people to like her, and she got a power that lets her make better masks.

CHILD. hey guess what? if a 9yo kid being clingy is ruining your career, THAT ISNT ON HER. thats on you for taking on the responsibility of working with a THIRD GRADER without realizing how its different from working with an adult. it was YOUR JOB to make sure she knew those boundaries, to make sure she had her needs met and was coping with the INCREDIBLY STRESSFUL, LIFE-THREATENING SITUATIONS she was being put in. i repeat: SHES A FUCKING CHILD. she is a mentally ill, traumatized, scared, vulnerable child. you talk about how much of a pain it was to have the youth guard breathing over your neck but you're telling me that they were fucking right to do so, because if you came out of this situation thinking "this 9yo child is causing problems" and not "the people responsible are neglecting and failing this 9yo child", you should not be allowed to work with children. in short, Mayday, FUCK.
