if i had a nickel for every time i hyperfixaed on a dark haired, short-tempered pessimistic character who hates the bubbly main protag's (with a missing arm) ideal/beliefs was associated with a cross, been subjected to a horrific science experimentations at a young age by a religious organization, has a body that can regenerate (with limits), inhumanely strong, despises the said organization while still working under them, and has a loved one from childhood who shared the same trauma as him only to show up later to fight him, and dies after making peace with said loved one, id have two nickels which isnt a lot but its weird that it happened twice.
