I just noticed about kaguya's hand cuz it's the same nail ornament she used to make Miyuki notice her in S1 and there's a "MEMORY" book which means whatever we're seeing now is a part of her memories and past. Also the fact that she's wearing a ring which symbolizes her marriage and she's going through her old memory book.

weird how the comments of all the kaguya sama movie posts are about how people have no one to go see it with (and also that they're not showing it anywhere near them) like go by yourself? you only live once !! see the damn movie!!

Kaguya-sama: Love is War - The First Kiss That Never Ends
Kaguya-sama: Love is War - The First Kiss That Never Ends (2022)
Platform: in theaters!
I saw the Kaguya-sama movie in a real actual movie theater tonight. It was excellent, though certainly not for people who haven't watched the show. It picks up exactly where season 3 ends, and deals with the aftermath of Shirogane's grand romantic gesture, as he and Kaguya attempt to navigate whether that was such a good idea and how to define and make official this new romantic relationship. This movie features agonizingly correct-feeling introspection and self-doubt, a mature lesson about different contextual selves, and of course the series's trademark comedic overthinking and misunderstanding. Its few flaws are artifacts of its established format -- its little asides sprinkled throughout didn't always feel placed correctly, and the narrator seemed much less important than he does in the show -- yet it even manages to be one of very few movies I've seen that try to be a feature-length episode of a TV show and pull it off.
Happy Valentine's Day. I'm just so happy for these characters.
Weeb/Ass/Shit scores: 5/3/2
("ass" score entirely for sexual jokes, no nudity or explicit content)
