The Crown: tudo o que sabemos sobre a 5ª temporada até agora

The Crown é uma série da Netflix que conquistou muitos fãs. Ao retratar o que acontece entre os muros da Família Real britânica, a produção dá uma grande aula de história e também das relações humanas, cheia de conflitos e interesses. Ela segue reinado da Rainha Elizabeth II desde o final dos anos 1940 e mostra problemas no casamento, distanciamento dos filhos, disputa por atenção entre outros aspectos.

A série já está na sua 4ª temporada, que trouxe personalidades femininas fortes e importantes como a Princesa Diana, interpretada por Emma Corrin, e Margareth Tatcher, primeira-ministra britânica, interpretada por Gillian Anderson. Foi introduzido na trama o romance do Príncipe Charles (Josh O’Conner) com a Lady Di, o que agradou o público e a crítica, garantindo vários prêmios nesta temporada, incluindo o Globo de Ouro 2021.

A 5ª temporada já está sendo filmada? 

Ainda não, mas em breve! As gravações da próxima leva de episódios devem começar em julho, se tudo ocorrer como o previsto. O elenco irá para o Elstree Studios, no norte de Londres, onde a maior parte das gravações é feita e toda a série será produzida de acordo com os protocolos de segurança da Covid-19. 

Qual será o enredo? 

Não sabemos exatamente qual será o arco narrativo da nova temporada, mas como a 4ª temporada se iniciou em 1979 e terminou em 1990, ele pode dar continuidade e abordar a década de 90, uma das mais conturbadas para a Família Real. 

No entanto, sabemos também que a produção foi renovada para uma 6ª e última temporada, o que pode indicar que a série irá retratar a morte da Princesa Diana, em 1997, apenas no final, fazendo com que a 5ª parte se encerre pouco antes disso. Os roteiristas gostam de tratar com detalhes o que acontece com a realeza, portanto, devem querer fazer com calma esse período específico da história.

Dentre os próximos acontecimentos, em 1992 os casamentos de três filhos da Rainha se romperam. Anne se separou, Andrew se divorciou e Charler e Diana também sinalizavam o divórcio, assinado em dezembro daquele ano. 

Além disso, o Castelo de Windsor pegou fogo e teve uma parte danificada, o que fez com que a Vossa Majestade pagasse imposto de renda pela primiera vez. E Margaret Thatcher foi substituída por seu sucessor John Major. Ou seja, tem muito drama ainda para rolar.

Novo elenco

Os Windsor serão representados por um novo elenco. Elizabeth Debicki (Tenet) será a Princesa Diana, Dominic West (Os Miseráveis) fará o Príncipe Charles, Imelda Staunton (a professora Dolores Umbridge em Harry Potter e a Ordem da Fenix) interpretará a Rainha Elizabeth II, Lesley Manville (Trama Fantasma) fará a Princesa Margaret, Jonathan Pryce  (Dois Papas) será o Príncipe Philip. Outros atores ainda não foram anunciados.

‘Friends’ Star Matthew Perry Lists His Malibu Beach House for $15M

Want to be a friend to Matthew Perry? Purchase his “kick-ass Malibu home,” as he called it on social media. The “Friends” star is selling his beachfront abode for $14.95 million, according to Variety.

The performer purchased the Malibu home in 2011 for $12 million from Southern California developer Scott Gillen, according to Architectural Digest.

The home builder transformed the ’60s-era dwelling into a loftlike space with walls of glass that open to decks overlooking the Pacific Ocean. 

The 5,500-square-foot, two-level home has four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The main floor features an open living and dining area, fireplace, beamed ceilings, and what looks to be a custom pingpong table.

The deck comes with plenty of seating and a fire pit. And, of course, the home is just steps to the beach.

The gorgeous beachfront property is a perfect pandemic setup.

Perry spent some quality time in the Malibu home over the past few months. He’s posted photos of himself baking cookies in the kitchen, relaxing on his deck, and complaining about mask-less beachgoers.

This isn’t the first time the actor has dipped his toe into the real estate waters. Last year, he listed his posh penthouse condo in L.A.’s Century City for a whopping $35 million. Now reduced to $27 million, the 9,300-square-foot condo features a home theater, terraces, and a massive master suite. The space, redone by the star after he bought it in 2017 for $20 million, has some personal touches, including a display of “Batman” memorabilia and a game room. 

The 51-year-old apparently had another beach home in Malibu that he had opened up as a sober living facility. He sold that property five years ago for $10.65 million.  

Best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the long-running sitcom “Friends,” the actor has also appeared in plays, movies, and other TV shows, including “The Odd Couple.” He was the voice of Benny in the video game “Fallout: New Vegas.” The “Friends” reunion on HBO Max, set to reunite the original cast, has been postponed due to the pandemic.
