i just finished the prologue of the mota book and i don't know how i haven't seen a single post talking about how after john and gale's stalag reunion, they were then separated for another four months.

my heart is aching so bad. imagine being reunited (after almost three weeks, oct 8–26th) and having that tiny feeling of 'everything is going to be okay' and then being ripped apart again for four fucking months. 120 more days of not being able to be at each other's sides.

goodmorning i woke up today and first thing i saw was a spoiler detailing curtis biddick's death and listen maybe i should have read the book first but i just do not care enough about war–period stuff bc i think war is sad and stupid and a waste of human life (nothing against the show or any war shows btw they're usually wonderfully done i just personally find them too depressing to watch) and i literally just started watching this for barry but now i'm attached to these characters! and i'm writing stupid fanfic about them! how do hyperfixations creep up on me like this it's so bad LMAO like granted it's minor compared to saltburn and i'm sure writing one fic will get this out of my system but ohhh man am i gonna bawl my eyes out whenever his death occurs. and it's even more fucking sad bc these are real people like yes i am attached to the 'fictional' characters bc of the actors i'm watching it for but thinking ab this happening to real people is so awful and sickening and this is why i don't watch war stuff, i'm too sensitive for it, with peace and love <3 anyway suddenly not excited for friday's episode anymore LOL i'm hoping it's not for a few episodes still but i'm bracing myself 👍🏻 they fr picked the actor who is so painfully good at crying for this it's sick in the head
