Remember that time when we realized the actors for E & R in the new Les Miz tour were dating and we freaked out.
Remember that time when they got married and we freaked out even more, but also rolled our eyes that the NY Times reporter who wrote their marriage piece clearly knew nothing about Les Miz b/c he just said they're "both actors in the ensemble of the Broadway revival of Les Misérables”, they arent just BOTH ACTORS IN LES MIZ they're THE ACTORS PLAYING E & R for heaven's sake and they're GETTING MARRIED.
Remember that time (surely this isn't just me?) when 6 years later we just needed to check if they were still together so we tracked down their Instagrams and still found their accounts littered with cute couple shots and them calling each other "my honey" and our day was made.

Gavin Creel and Jason Forbach sing "Agony" from Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods at The Kennedy Center
"Agony! Misery! Woe!
Though it's different for each.
Always ten steps behind
Always ten feet below
And she's just out of reach.
Agony that can cut like a knife!
I must have her to wife."

Notes: Recorded from the Front Mez. The person beside me was enjoying some theatre snacks throughout the show, so apologies for any disturbances as a result of this. I also missed the very beginning of the Entr'acte, but there's a few other masters out there should you want to do an insert. Includes the full speeches during curtain call (including the boos when they mention the closing), and the shout out to the swings. We missed you Greg!
Truly a magical night, with absolutely amazing energy. As others have said, Emilie's "Wishing..." might be the best I've ever seen.
And to the guy outside the theatre with the sign asking for an extra Playbill, who I graciously gave my extra to, only to then notice him tuck it into his jacket and continue to stand there gathering more of the limited edition Playbills: the Opera Ghost is not pleased...
