You ever wonder if maybe the reason you grew up and didn't feel like an adult is because the dividers between children and adults are built on constructed power dynamics more than an actual altruistic social responsibility to those that lack certain capacities a fully developed person can access, and so because of this your development as a person is rendered moot because you still feel just as powerless as you did when you were a kid it's just instead of being disempowered at the hands of adults who can individually choose to be cruel or kind to you, you're disempowered at the hands of a complex interconnected network of systems beyond any one individual's control?

Very funny and also really telling about the public's level of education on animals that I reverse engineered how to treat animals by going 'Well. Animals really like disney princesses, and disney princesses are very gentle and soft and quiet and patient and stuff. So if I want animals to like me, (and I do, more than I want most people to like me) I should be very gentle and soft and quiet and patient with animals.' plus a little trial and error with the occasional stray cat.
