Notes:

This A.M.V. is currently semi- (mostly) / FINISHED. As of now, the preliminary version up until ending is completed. Hopefully you find some enjoyment so far though! - The intro and Koushiro’s section took about 1 hour 15 min alone. - Taichi’s section took another 25~30 min or so (I’m rounding Taichi’s out to about 25.) - The 2nd to last finishing touch took another 45 min of editing for an about 17 second section. - This last one took almost 1 hour more. - And finally, the final stretch was 2 hours 35 min; (Add that all together, and it’s about) almost 6~ hours in total. (this time, it crashed multiple times in-between! I managed to save it!!) As a result of crashings occuring, I tend to use longer clips towards the middle and end. However, this time I somehow managed to fit in a bit more than usual! This one may not be 100 percent polished ‘soon’, but I’m aiming to work on it more by Oct. [If I can’t finish it by then, it’ll be put on the list of things to finish ‘sometime’]

(Episode start): {Tentomon}: Koushiro-han! Let’s take a little break! {Koushiro, only briefly pauses, with a notably perturbed look}: I want to meet Gennai-san as soon as possible! {Tentomon, insistent}: But even so, it’s already been two months! {Koushiro, surprisingly direct, and yet still using typical speech*}: (*Koushiro in the J.P.N version commonly uses a more polite J.P.N speech form than characters like Yamato, or even Taichi, which is quite notable with Koushiro.)

“It doesn’t matter HOW LONG it takes!!” {Tentomon, immediately in response}: (*sighing*)/(*sweatdrop*) {Koushiro, matter-of-factly/calmly}: I’m going ahead. {Tentomon, quickly}: A-aa, Koushiro-han, wait for me!...

(They walk together as the calm OST {music} track playing fades.)

My commentary: Episode 24, Koushiro’s focus episode where Koushiro will later obtain the Crest of Knowledge, opens on this scene, and in the original version, right away, you begin to get a feel of the character progress he will eventually have- For a start, Koushiro actually insists a little at Tentomon. The Adventure novel (also penned by a head/“main” director + writer, Hiroyuki Kakudou) indicates in a later Dark Masters “Arc” scene that Koushiro “never” raised Koushiro’s voice towards a “senpai”/“upperclassman” - especially NOT Taichi, as the scene stating that line involved Taichi - and even these lines Koushiro states using overall “polite” form J.P.N speech, but Koushiro DOES insist a little, and it’s very obvious from the look on Koushiro’s face that Koushiro Means Business, OK, Don’t Argue With Me On This! Tentomon responds by immediately sighing, and another common pattern of this episode are the close-ups of Tentomon’s reactions to basically everything Koushiro is saying.

Tentomon clearly notes that it’s been “TWO MONTHS” in the Digital World since Taichi vanished. The novel is a bit more vague there, but it’s also a direct timeline clue - keeping in mind the time difference between the worlds. However, it also hadn’t been longer than two months since Koushiro split from the group of other Chosen, who Koushiro left behind in the search. Koushiro’s plan is apparently to FIND “Gennai” - It seems Koushiro believes Gennai can help with the search.

The novel does go a little more in depth in various places there... Taichi isn’t directly mentioned, {though still goes missing} but Koushiro, DOES feel a “pull” by the Crest of Knowledge - not knowing it’s the Crest. Vademon will then proceed to immediately trick Koushiro & Tentomon by scamming Koushiro out of Koushiro’s often-referred to as “Inquisitive Heart”, convincing Koushiro that what Koushiro “needs” is ““Knowledge””.

But the fake, anti-intellectualist “Knowledge” Vademon talks about is not necessarily the kind of actual “Knowledge” Koushiro NEEDS...

Tentomon clearly recognizes at least a little of this, and with the ‘expressions’ (sudden shocked or panicky movements) Tentomon ‘gives’, often reacts in turn.

DigiAdvs 02 ~ J.P.N Version ~ TIMELINE(?) {+Issues} + Landing on "MAIAMI..." 'Beach' - on 12-24-02 "10:15 P.M." E.S.T Time

Observations from quick re-watching: - I was thinking Daisuke had worn jacket longer (he did still wear it in immediate aftermath) but Daisuke DID take it off in-between + others too (THANKS TOEI) For Including That Minor Important Detail

- This site gave me Temp readings above According to knowledge of People I Know (This Should Be) Mostly Correct Temp readings for 2002? (People I Know: "No, that'd be perfect weather!!!") ("They {probably} wouldn't be wearing JACKETS")

- MICHAEL STILL SHOWS UP IN FULL-ON JACKET - OUTSIDE - MICHAEL I appreciate you but TAKE OFF THE Jacket mAYBE...

- There were more than 3 random people on the beach (1st img) - All of them were (for the most part) adults - THEY SHOULD Have Digis at some point probably But (Well TM) - They did see + acknowledge Imperialdramon ("A monster!!1!") - Daisuke & co. immediately put full-on outfits back on while on the way to the airport (Again Are You Still At "MAIAMI" Or Not) - Did they leave from M.I.A {airport}????? - Wow I Could Tell You Abt That Place - Ok but UNLIKELY It'd be that ... - Easy to Not Be Detected ON X-MAS EVE????? - IT WAS LIKE 10 P.M. STILL???? - But You Know Fantasy TM - Alternatively there's also F.L.L. but... Hmm - I can say there was at least one time where I Myself TM left from there at 4 A.M.~ E.S.T pretty easily that was ONE TIME Though!!! - I Don't Want To Test Otherwise - Honorifics wise, Michael uses "Daisuke" plain for Daisuke, "Ken-kun", "Yamato-san"... - I'm still mad @ Toei that we don't have more Chosen from here!!!!! - I AM Allowed My Opinions On This - Fight me once you've been to M.I.A. airport and the like - ok but no genuinely which airport is it - Do with the info above what you will - DO NOT talk to me abt this scene (or the concept of Chosen from here) unless You Want me to YELL

Preview {Version #1}: - The Only Exception (sung / (C) by: Par@more) featuring DUO/O.T.P: - KouTai (Koushiro x Taichi) – (KouxMimi appears briefly in the 2nd verse + Other charas by end, However, the focus is KouTai / specifically Koushiro and Taichi.) {KouxMimi can be read in as basically anything; canon compliant side-ship, A.U.s; side KouTaiMi or poly-ships in general; former KouxMimi mutual crushes ended on good terms?, etc.}

My commentary:

I’m aware there’s quite a few ongoing and recent fan events right now that might have had Taichi or Koushiro involvement, but I was tied up with offline things; Thus, this time is an A.M.V. that is mainly Koushiro-centric, but TAICHI does get some quite good focus too, and, specifically, also their (Very Good) relationship! There is also some vid-style analysis on the dynamics of Izumi Family, as well as the Yagami Family. It’s also yet another "analysis” of Koushiro & Taichi in general, too. (Basically any of my other ships can also be read in, in varying combos.)

Notes:

This is the preliminary 1st version of this A.M.V. Hopefully you find some enjoyment as it is now though! The 1st part had taken about 45~ min already. The 2nd verse + chorus took about another 35~ min. This 3rd section took about 30 min at start, another 1 hr to wrap up scenes through the interlude, and already had a total of 1 crashing of my editor. The last segment took about 45 min total; Thus, total time spent on this? 3 hours and 35~ min or so. These may not be final scenes as I make future adjustments. (However, it came together well despite the crash!)

There is a tiny bit of scenery shots from beginning of Kizuna, then, by the interlude, some more notable Kizuna spoilers involving Taichi & Koushiro mainly, but you will see a scene involving Chosen. Tri spoilers, mainly Taichi & Koushiro supporting each other moments, are also added in the interlude and the ending; there are small moments from Saikai, Kokuhaku & Kyousei, mainly. The ends of Kokuhaku, Kyousei & Bokura no Mirai / Our Future are not spoiled, but there is lead-up. Kokuhaku middle-end spoiler occurs in the final chorus; a scene namely showing Taichi and Koushiro supporting each other (I’ve used it often in past A.M.V.s). A tiny Bokura no Mirai moment of just Koushiro is also included.

DigiAdv 2020 (for A.U. spinoff{s}) becomes included by the interlude (it’s mainly Koushiro moments from beginning + middle of Ep 36) However, it can also be seen as inclusive of wider Adventure{s} “canon”; and basically paralleling many of the following canon moments.

IKEBANA (生け花, 活け花, "arranging flowers" or "making flowers alive") is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It is also known as Kadō (華道, "way of flowers"). The tradition dates back to Heian period, when floral offerings were made at altars. Later, flower arrangements were instead used to adorn the tokonoma (alcove) of a traditional Japanese home.

Ikebana reached its first zenith in the 16th century under the influence of Buddhist tea masters and has grown over the centuries, with numerous distinct schools extant today.
