This book has been a hell of a journey. Val is both ace and grayromantic and I wrote so many pieces of my own ace identity into them years ago, without even realizing what I was doing. My very first draft of this poured out of me in 2014, and I didn't come to know and identify as ace until a few years later. Discovering it was like finally cracking a cipher to a code; so much of who I was and my experiences made sense. And Val made more sense too. I can't wait to share them with you. 🖤💜🤍
