My dude, I don’t know why I ever Google stuff about my cat. It just makes me feel anxious and inadequate.

All my anxious comments are in the tags, but also I register I’m doing the best I can and she’s happy. Here’s a picture from Sunday when I spent the whole day in bed after returning from my week long trip just so that we could cuddle all day together. And we did cuddle!

#it looks like trixie lost two teeth while I was gone on a vacation and a business trip #and let’s not even touch my guilt about leaving her for a week and then two days #but I googled her teeth being missing to be like do I need to be worried #and first you find all the stuff about how kittens lose their teeth at like 4-5 months old #and trixie is a year old in like a week #and so I was like !!!! she’s lost them too late??? she’s got teeth issues???? #and it turns out that Maine coons can have adult teeth come in until like a year old #so like the internet didn’t say yes Claire she’s fine #but I have inferred it #but the website I read it on had like all the grooming things I should be doing #and I do try to brush her every day as suggested but who knows if I’m getting it all the way they suggested #and like I need to trim her claws but it’s hard to do my myself so usually I let her fall asleep and then do it #but she’s on to me #anyway I’m seeing all these things that just make me feel guilty #like how they are social and don’t leave them alone for long periods of time #and how they need all this special treatment #and really if I consider it I do all the things they say #but it just makes me feel like I’m not doing enough and what if she’s not happy??? #and all signs point to her being happy #but man if this isn’t a reminder to not read baby books someday when I have kids #because I’m not sure I can actually be chill about it #claireified
