Recently read hell take us, heaven can wait by KivaEmber. Am now obsessed with the idea of Demi-Fiend Akechi Goro. Sometimes all you gotta do to solve your daddy issues is to just nearly die and then get turned into a half demon in the most traumatizing way possible.
If you wanna read it, link is below the read more

Thank you!! <3 I only used the second prompt - hope you don’t mind!
Goro Majima | “I can’t sleep, you’ve been gone too long.”

You sighed, turning over and flipping over the pillow onto its cooler side. You couldn’t be bothered to check what time it was. It didn’t matter. Midnight, two o’clock, half past five... The outcome to you would be exactly the same; agonize over your insomnia, check your cellphone for any trace of him, then turn over once again while yearning for that familiar warmth that had become absent from your side.
It wasn’t like you didn’t know that being in a long-term relationship with a yakuza was going to be a bumpy ride, especially with Majima of all people in the world. Him being the patriarch of his own family came with unavoidable responsibilities he had to take care of some way or another, forcing him to set you aside for some time, and you respected that, making sure to give him the breathing space you knew he needed and welcoming him back home with open arms when his heavy load of duties were finally done with.
But nights, rather, weeks like these were the kind where you couldn’t help but feel absolutely powerless, stuck at home worrying over Majima while he risked his life to do God-knows-what. He rarely ever told you what would happen during his mysterious absences. Not due to a lack of trust, rather because he didn’t want you to be further involved with the yakuza business more than you already were by virtue of being his partner - it was one of his ways of keeping you safe. Street gangs and rival families had begun to catch on to the true nature of your relationship, leading to some rather unpleasant encounters you and Majima had to deal with. He didn’t want to hawk over you, of course, though he couldn’t help but assume the worst to happen every time you left on your own. He’d never tell you outright, but he was just as paranoid as you were.
Usually, you’d do your best not to disturb him while he was away. The last thing you wanted was for him to get distracted at work because of you, and you also thought it to be the best way to ease his own worries. And so, you established an unspoken rule for yourself; Never text Majima unless it was an emergency. You swore by it.
His absence was hitting you hard, nearing two months of radio silence save for the weekly updates you’d receive from Nishida. The temptation to reach out to him grew stronger and stronger with each passing day.
No harm in being a little selfish for once, right?
You texted him before you even realized that you had done it. The blocky characters on your screen read, “I can’t sleep, you’ve been gone too long”.
---------- The following night came much quicker than you would have liked it to. The lights in your apartment dimmed down along with the sky, leaving you with only the soft glow of the city lights outside to keep you company. But before you even took a single step into your bedroom, you heard the familiar rattle and creak of your front door. You didn’t even need to see who it was. You’ve got Majima tackled before he can even take off his shoes, his laughter echoing through your shared home. “Easy, tiger,” he coos, holding you close to his chest in an embrace even tighter than yours. “I’m home”.
