every few years my folks go to the beach and its so cold and desolate 😭 like its gorgeous but omfg

I'm about 2-3 hrs from the coast, and I love going whenever I get the chance! I am also in agreement that we have an awesome coastal range that captures the beauty of melancholy , but holy shit the water is colder than a thousand corpses!

#savage rambles #sometimes when ive had excruciating fibro flares i purposefully jump into the ocean #it hurts like a mother fucker at the cold temps like im getting sliced by tiny knives but after a good half hour or so i dont feel anything #and then im numb for the next 24 hrs with no pain #i nearly get the same effect when i go to the hot springs #the pause button on my body gets hit and I feel great #granted it doesn't always work but if i had the option to take a dip everyday before and after work I'd be running faster than forest gump
