you know, sometimes i agree w people that dislike “booktok” or “bookstagram” or whatever, but the people that hate it are really fucking insufferable sometimes too. i think that books should have more depth and fun and uniqueness to them because… obviously, and also that we shouldn’t act like classics don’t exist because they’re classics for a reason, but also…. there’s so much hatred and negativity towards ppl that read children’s books and ya novels for fun because they don’t want to be stressed 😭
