this is hands down the funniest thing they’ve ever done…..like they SAID they didn’t want to do one on a bus. but people kept asking! and then they said FINE. HAVE YOUR FUCKING BUS EPISODE. we’ve got the buses! we’ve got the outfits! here are the promos! stop asking! and then six months later they said SIKE and gave us the worlds worst game show and carrie with a bob instead……go off kings!

We should Goncharov the bus episode, folks. Play them at their own game. Everyone start talking about the bus episode like it happened.

That was a good fucking episode.
This hasn’t been my favourite series of IN9 but TLW really made up for it for me. Only thing I missed was spotting the hare*! 😂
(*If anyone saw it, tell me where it is so I have an excuse to rewatch the ep)

people are really mad about a gay character being killed horrifically on the people being killed horrifically show?

Me: Oooh, it's an interesting and sensitive take on Kubler-Ross and the stages of grief.
Reece and Steve: Yeah...no.

ok yeah they got me.
I have absolutely no interest in game shows and I just about missed the little bbc two lady announcement so I thought it was a real game show and the bbc had cocked it up!! lol. my family and I didn’t end up watching it until it had finished airing, because by then they had fixed the name of the episode and the thumbnail on iplayer, but it was still a great experience (and the closest to experiencing dead line live I will ever get :’) still bitter about that)
anyway I haven’t really been talking about inside no 9 weekly, but this was a spectacular episode, i absolutely adored it and i love that they never even wanted to do one on a bus anyway lmfao, such a perfect dead line-esque bait and switch. loved the carrie/stranger things angle and me and my parents got it pretty quickly, but it was still done SO WELL and the actors were absolutely awesome as was the end twist (which was the predictable outcome once you understood what was up with the girl but nonetheless really really great). I loooove when they do crazy different formats, dead line is one of my favourite episodes and I love devil of christmas too so I disagree with my mums statement that this meant they were “running out of ideas”. hello?!?! I think this was an awesome idea with great execution, might be in my top ten I think, a first for this season even though it has been consistently good so far
TLDR, absolutely banging episode my jaw is on the FLOOR with this one, what did everyone else think and did you fall for it, like were you also confused when watching live
