#and then ask if they truly have scrubbed all ego and identity to become a perfect arbiter of justice; #why do they still uphold a system that kidnaps enslaves and ritualistically sacrifices people to resurrect genocidal gods #seems like a pretty unjust system tbh maybe the fact that you were once one of the people in charge of that system still biases you hmmmmm #paradise killer would have been a better game if someone pointed that out #if there was a way to destroy everything bc tbh it is a system rotten to the core im with henry summon demons fuck it who cares #man that would be great #instead it's a game where you can make the player character say the system is fucked but you can never actually fix it #even in the ending where all the guilty are executed they still kidnap people and according to one last kiss those people will be basically #infected with aerosolized demons in the new 'perfect' world #but the people left in charge won't care bc it's not them and in fact the player character will benefit from it #bc she'll remake her police force that takes out demons #whatever i think im mostly irritated bc i thought the game would have more to say than it did
