With ears like fans wearing a long sacred thread.

In a dwarf form the son of the Great Lord.

I bow to the feet of Vighnavinayaka the remover of obstacles<3>*

With a curved trunk a massive body shining like millions of Suns.

Make all my endeavors free of obstacles O God at all times<4>*

To the elephant-faced the sun to the lotus-face of Parvati the night to Gajanana.

To the many and to the devotees the single-tusked we worship<5>*

To the lord of obstacles the giver of boons beloved by the gods to the pot-bellied benefactor of the world.

To the serpent-faced adorned with the study of the Vedas the son of Gauri to the lord of the ganas I bow again and again<6>*

To the single-tusked great-bodied pot-bellied elephant-faced.

To the god who destroys obstacles to Heramba I offer my respects<7>*

To Gajanana served by hosts of spirits consuming the essence of the kapittha and jambu fruits.
