#Repost @butcanigetaflight Starting off the year with yet another phenomenal Babe Brew from @beerbabesfamily & @distractionbeer! Babe Brew 7 is an oaked porter, coming in at 6%. This beer is perfectly dark with a moderate beige head that dissipates gradually, leaving a little bit of lacing. I smell a lot of roast with a bit of oak and chocolate. The taste is much the same with a bit more sweetness than I would’ve initially expected. Finishes with a nice lingering oakiness. Do you want to try Babe Brew for yourself? Finishing up 2020 with a delicious collaboration beer from @icarusbrewing and @lastwavebrewing that pours like motor oil and tastes like perfection. Brewers Ball is a fantastic dessert stout that's smooth and a little sweet (it's the cocoa nibs). I've had a lot of good New Jersey beer during this pandemic as I've been supporting local breweries, and I plan on continuing this trend in 2021. So, this morning I noticed that workers were painting over the Yards Brewing logos across the street, buy didn't think much of it. This evening when I got home, I noticed that the old Tasting Room was reopened... as Mainstay Independent Brewing @mainstayindependent , the first part of Craft Hall which will eventually include a BBQ joint and the Lost Bread Company bakery.
