I feel like there's so much potential there - both being introverted, loving books

and I suppose they'd have opportunity to interact during prefect duties - or maybe through lily now that her and regulus are scheming together lol

i would LOVE TO - i am doing my darnedest to make sure every possible combination of marauders + regulus and barty and evan (+ lily for extra chaos) is forced to interact with each other, both for war reasons and also because i think the cognitive dissonance between what they think the others are like and what the others are *actually* like once you spend 5 minutes getting to know them is so funny

in general everyone sirius is close with and everyone regulus is close with? the avenues for misperceptions and realizations are SO GOOD

remus in particular is going to have an interesting arc with regard to the notion of dark arts coexisting with support for not just muggleborns but also dark creatures. i think i went into that at some point (a long time ago ajfslghkdf but it was in response to another ask about what various characters think/will think of regulus's side) and i want to bring as much of that to the forefront of the story as possible

atm i'm not entirely sure if i'll do that via direct interaction between him and regulus or via remus interacting with someone else who then passes some things on to regulus (which would be either barty, who would pass on absolutely everything, or lily, who would pass on some things)

but i want remus and regulus to work together i think they'd both get a kick out of that and be terrifyingly effective
