Love reading fics and immersing myself in the exploration of concepts while being fully aware that i would not want any of these to actually happen in canon.

#shut up roppie #listen fic reading can very well be for wish-fulfillment and yearned narrative catharsis #but i personally love fics for the exploration of character themes and events #and i love burrowing myself in my niche collection of tropes with my blorbo doing the thing #but yeah i would not want it to happen in canon #its a character arc that fulfills me but wpuld be a detriment to the narrative as a whole canon-wise #for example #in a way this is me abt happy domestic batfam lmao #a concept i enjoy but ultimately feel a canon application would not be possible without fundamentally lessening the characters as a whole
