..... i think my problem was that i stopped writing for myself and started thinking "but what would the Cool Popular tumblr people i like think about this fic? Would they agree with the characterization or would they make mean vagueposts about it? Am I accidentally writing something that will end up in a List Of Tma Fic Tropes That Are Secretly Problematic post?" when some of the most fun i had was when I was writing for me and hoping it would reach like three(3) other people who were also looking for that specific weird thing

#tbh im happy for the people who had a nice experience in the tma fandom but i fell in with the Wrong crowd lmao #imagine being in *this* fandom and turning it into a panopticon situation...... sir this isnt the place #my experience with the fandom SUCKED #i had to sit and watch as Popular Writers said things like btw im the only one who can characterize Tim and Danny properly 🥰 #everyone else is wrong 🥰 #and LONG posts about if your jon in fanfic can make tea he's problematic!!!! if you write jon not making tea that's ALSO problematic #if you call jon stupid you didn't Understand the show if you defend jon's actions you didn't Understand the show #like. none of this matters. how old are we all #also dont even remind me of the ****** nonsense that completely ruined my ability to write.. i abandoned that fic and never wrote again #like. some of the ppl there were genuinely MEAN and that's it. idc how much you're the Only One Who Understands the text #and the Only One Who Understands problematic tropes - you're mean to people. plain and simple #sorry for putting this on everybodys dash im just processing.
