MAJOR NARUTO SHIPPUDEN SPOILERS AHEAD!

can we talk about how naruto: shonen jump is just pure & innocent, then jump to shippuden and the farther you get into the show the darker it gets. like hear me out. i haven’t watched all of it yet, overall barley nothing, but i’ve spoiled basically the whole thing. SO SPOILERS AHEAD. the whole series takes a really interesting, dark turn when jiraiya dies. it shows naruto and how much pain he’s in, it shows guilt from tsunade and the blame put on her too. they start to deal with some real pain. even when saskue left way back in the beginning, it started to spiral just a smidge but everyone still had hope, & overall still had eachother. it is so tough to watch this show, even though it is so goddamn good and thats al i want to do, but when people started dying and hope was becoming lost, LIKE THAT SHIT FUCKS A PERSON UP. even the coloring in the show has its moments where it imitates the mood and you’re just there like shit. their hope doesn’t die though and then we get to another one of the infamous naruto & saskue showdowns. also very emotional may i add. but thats where i think we go into this very dark state of the show. after that is the fourth shinobi war and then minato & kushina are back for a hot minute, we learn what their last words to naruto were so long ago, and then they leave again. next we have neji. when that wood went through his chest my heart broke into pieces. as a result though we then have hinatas, tentens, and basically everyones grieve. obviously i don’t know everything about the shinobi wars bc i havent even gotten close to that yet, but i know after that is kakashis arc. actually backtrack - i think before the war is itachis shinden & death too, maybe near jiraiyas. just another thing that proves my point more. shit gets real, real fast. anyway, we have kakashis arc which from what ive heard is about his past obviously & about him, obito, and rin. thats a really dark one too. im probably not going in order at all at this point but you know, after that we have saskues shinden, shikas hiden, and konohas hiden. im pretty sure everything up till konohas hiden was dark, but finally we have narutos and hinatas wedding. i think it gets into a lighter mood from there. dont quote me on this but i THINK after that saskues back with team 7 (gang gang bitch) so that is obviously a big change of mood too. thats what they've been doing this whole time ya know. trying to get him back. anywaYYY i dont know that much about shippuden, so theres a 100% chance a couple things are wrong in here. i dont know about the last scene of it either but i know baruto, as said in the name, is about narutos son, and all of their kids. it makes me happy to see we get back to happier times, less death and grief, just getting to know adult them and where've they been. i know at one point saskue comes back again? so he left at some point again. but all in all i'm in NO way saying i dont like when the series takes a turn. i think it made it really interesting. honestly, might be my favorite part about this show. they went from a light plot to one that was very real. anyways just pointing out my thoughts and shit. no one will probably read this lol
