Okay, but should I watch the Guardian web series first, or should I read the book(s) first?

#i have like...a million danmei to read at this point #and im constantly debating what i wanna tackle next (especially bc the fire is still burning hot for svsss) #but guardian may well be next for me #however guardian is probably the first one im considering trying out watching the liveaction for #(ill probably also watch untamed at some point but DO want to read the novels first) #unless someone heavily recommends against it i may watch it first tbh #if only to try my hand at doing something i so rarely do haha #and also because i feel like i tend to be let down by shows i watch after reading the novel #whereas ive never been let down reading novel after watching the show it was based on first #guardian cdrama #zhen hun #im curious to know if ppl would really rec doing it in a certain order though!
