Now you got me thinking Templar reclamation by:

Loved ones of mages (example; the Hawke family... especially Keir)

And Dwarves ("no soul" my ass, get 'em dwarves)

I think it'd be hilarious tbh. Like no thank you, I can take care of my mage sibling/kid/spouse/friend/neighbor myself... look see I even have your shit.

i definitely think a lot about dwarves reclaiming templar abilities. those powers don’t come from the maker, after all; they very literally come from the stone, and from lyrium, the gift of the stone, that only the stone’s children can mine

and yeah i think there’s definitely something in giving communities the power to temper their own growing mages rather than it being so controlled by the chantry’s monopoly

i don’t THINK templars’ abilities would work on each other but it’s been a while since i brushed up on how they work
