I'll format this later, but I just wanted to say that the current political climate would entirely affect the vampire community and Jess would be at the forefront of moving vampires into safer communities away from humans and working with legislation to protect themselves. Fortunately after the Vamp Camp from Sara Newlin and the Governor, most of Bon Temps has stayed peaceful. They've all seen too much violence and choose to stay on the side of the vampires because of the fear of any remaining hep V vampires.
