I was gonna ask "who thinks swapping triforce pieces changes personality?" and then I remembered all the fanfics and AU's doing exactly that. Aren't the triforce pieces "attracted" to people who /potentially/ might embody them in their truest form? I swear I read that somewhere. That's why Link doesn't have the triforce in every game by default, and why he's still a courageous and heroic even without it. Bc the triforce is just a "symbol" of who/what you already are deep down inside your heart.
Honestly, the triforce lore is wack. Generally, the triforce is together... unless it's touched by someone whose heart is unbalanced or deliberately shattered into pieces. I think the only hero born with a piece of the triforce embedded into their soul was the Link from tp (but I think some downfall timeline ones did? idk I'm not a total expert on the lore)
The pieces of the triforce aren't ever bound to a person (aside from the full thing being passed through the royal family), the different pieces are swapped around constantly but they generally have to be earned or be what the person carrying it most values (or something?)
Link has gotten hold of the full triforce, and the triforce of courage, and the triforce of courage plus the triforce of wisdom, and the triforce of power has been held by so many more characters than just ganon(-dorf), and even has been held by 'good' characters, (Lana... that might be it but my point still stands that it's not the triforce of power that makes the villains evil)
Ganondorf in oot only got the triforce of power because his heart was imbalanced and he couldn't take the whole thing.
What I'm saying is that the whole triforce trio, with the red blue and green, and the three goddesses and whatever, just isn't as concrete as it's sold to us as being. Like the triforce isn't set up to be this thing where there's one person per piece, like that's all just capitalism for Nintendo to sell more splatfests
