I just realised that duolingo French grammar charts don't include iel (basically like English's singular they)

I know this is a stupid thing for me to mention but it feels kinda weird to me, like, it's a common word and it has been taught in schools for years (at least here in Canada)

#It wouldn't even be that hard #It's conjugated the same as the other singular pronouns #I guess it's because it's not 'official' by the academie francaise #but they are also weird language purists who don't like any change #I'm too tired to properly write out their name #I don't want to argue with anyone about why it's like this #It's just something I noticed #if you are wondering why I'm learning duolingo French even though I mostly know French #It's entirely so i can have a high xp score #and bc I am bored #btw the new duolingo update sucks #these tags are a mess
