webkinz next has captivated me with its awkward pets and functional friend features

#kinzposting #webkinz next #(check my prev post for the apple animations) #it's so much better than i expected #and a lot smaller (less features) #but i have also softlocked my main account on a challenge #and my side account (which i made to see the next part of that challenge) got softlocked on the challenge before that #both of the new features (apple collecting/bakery) are very buggy #i assume the bugs aren't part of their marketing but watching pets clip through tables and apples fall through the void behind my house #has definitely made me more likely to make an in-app purchase #shrug. i don't like the paid season pass system but i like that you CAN actually earn diamonds in-game #i hope they find a better balance soon #bc part of the appeal of Classic (right now at least) is that a new pet costs $4-5 in the estore #but on Next it's $15 (pet) or $8 (sparking) which is STEEP #i know there's a $12 bundle with a 'pet pick box' and a 'spark token' #if there was some way to earn a spark token (like via the paid season pass...?) that would be nice
